Bought these for snowboarding as I’m about to start learning and I’m 30 with a sensitive left knee. Have fallen a bunch already and no pain. So glad I got these!! Gives me the confidence I need to fully try out the sport without fear of hurting myself. Cant believe I used to say no to these things as a kid lol. Also, fit is good and I have very thick legs. I think making an XL would be a good idea as I’m at the limit myself and I already know there are bigger folks out there.
