This is a good divice and it met my expectations.

It's a cool product. Does what it's meant for, easy to operate, compact and lightweight. However, very little option in terms of converting films to digital image. Comes out blurry and pixelated. No post processing function (i.e. under the hood enhancement). Expected from a cheap product. We have printed photos from the same films that's clearer when scanned from our HP multi-function printer. Wouldn't recommend if you expect a higher resolution output.

Purshased twice ! Unreliable !! Big software issues !! Doesn't work ! Literally !!!!! Avoid it

PROS: Extremely quick to use, computer-less workflow allows quick proofs, all adapters and tools needed for all types of film stocks CONS: Only JPGs output, screen is a big dull, best for quick proofs Exploring the world of film is a daunting task! Quite an expensive one too... Getting my feet wet in different film stocks it is almost imperative to start scanning your negatives and have a digital workflow. Film prices are getting more and more expensive, especially after the last price increase, and shooting is becoming so much costlier as a hobby. To cut costs, I figured it would be nice to skip getting my film stock scanned at the lab and do it myself. The unit is quite small and powered via USB mini which is quite convenient as it doesn't use a propriety power adapter. The buttons have a nice tactile feel and the menu system is easy to navigate. Different film stocks are easily selectable and it comes with all the adapters needed to fit 135, 110 126KPK and Super 8. I only shoot 135 so I could only test with this film stock. The 135 adapter slots in nice and easy and the film stock slides in perfectly with no play. There also is a cleaning tool which is nice to brush off the dust. Add in an SD card and a simple click of the OK button saves the image to the card. VERY simple and you can scan a whole roll within minutes. I'd say if you have a backlog of rolls that you need to quickly identify and create proofs this is perfect. What I would say about the unit is that the screen colours are a bit dull and the scanner only outputs JPG in 4 different quality outputs: 1, 3, 5, and 12megabytes(?). I would have to say for the high end equipment like professional film scanners or even DSLR film holders are still needed. The RAW output is necessary for non destructive high end editing. Otherwise this unit is perfect for creating quick, computer-less scans in no time, for digital proofs that can be used to archive your work. The speed of this workflow is absolutely great and takes the monotonous daunting task of scanning your rolls of film and makes it fun with repeatable quality. A great introduction in bridging the gap between analog film and digital without bulky and expensive equipment!

La calidad no es la que esperaba en lo más mínimo, el cristal interior venía mal colocado, se mueve cada vez que meto un cartucho. Nunca pude ver el formato súper 8 tuve que devolver el producto
