Another fantastic mystery and this one completely had me trying to figure out the end. Great read, another that I couldn’t put down.Love the story, characters, and the style of writing. Great job Mr. Ford. I’ve read all 5 of this series and hopefully there will be a Book 6.Thank you for these amazing books.

I liked the various plot twists, but I thought the ending was kind of abrupt. I also felt there were too many unanswered questions at the end. I realize that in real life everything doesn’t wrap up nice and neat but part of the story involves a troubled teen and at the end she just sort of faded from her story.

If you’re looking for a terrific series set in Wales with relatable characters and fantastic storylines this is it! Very highly recommended.

A solid mystery with a good, friendly police team. I would have given it one more star had the end not left one murder up in the air.

I really like this series. This book was definitely good, although the ending felt a little unresolved compared to the others, including not seeing important characters focused on at the beginning. The detective banter, investigative uncertainty, and character development seem genuine. A touch more plot resolution, and a touch less department politics, would make this another 5/5 star.

This series has been very enjoyable to read. The characters are well written and the small group of detectives solving the crimes have grown in each book. Detective Norman really keeps his police group on the right track, is always willing to help the younger members of his team succeed and his DI. It will be interesting to see where the next book in this series takes this team. Any book Mr. Ford has written is a pleasure to read.

I’ve now read all the books in this series and many of Ford’s previous ones, and I find each tale well-written and interesting. It’s the character development and interaction as well as the realistic banter between those characters that keeps you engaged in the plot, all the while rooting for the good guys, knowing they’ll do their best to solve the crime. I can hardly wait for the next book in this series (or ANY new book!) written by Mr. Ford.

Another good story but I would have liked to it to have been wrapped up a little more completely. I do like all the relationships within the team. I also like that all the drama is with the victims and suspects.

From book 1 in this series I have enjoyed each story. It’s been great learning a little about Wales, even if I can’t pronounce the name of the towns! The team that works on these cases are interesting and keep the story going.

Alas, this is currently book #5 and the last in the West Wales Murder Mysteries. This is an excellent series and this episode is no exception. Once again, I couldn't put my Kindle down.As workmen begin the demolition of a row of derelict cottages, a woman's body is discovered. Clearly, she has been brutally murdered. As she was heading a campaign to prevent these demolitions, there is a plethora of suspects to keep the reader guessing. There's not quite the clean ending I had anticipated so, perhaps that opens the door for an eventual episode 6? 🤞If you liked the previous books in the series, I rather think you'll enjoy this one too 😉 😄

I enjoyed reading this book, it was logical while suspenseful. Character development was entertaining and felt realistic. I liked The style of the writer.

The latest in this series has the usual complex plot with plenty of red-herrings before the culprit is brought to justice, a true page turner, a thoroughly good read.

I really like this series and this book was one of the best so far, kept me readin most of the night. The story was well writing and plotted with the great characters lending extra depth to the story. It was a bit hard to guess how it was going to end up and I can’t wait to read the next one to see where the characters go from here.
