From the Publisher Review: Best F1 romance around - 3.75 rounded up I did like this book a lot, especially at the start and end, but somewhere in the middle I felt myself get lost. At the beginning, I was hooked to the point I was reading this book everywhere (including in the SHOWER) so I think it goes to show I was obsessed, but around the 60% mark, I lost the interest I had. This could be a me issue, as I read this book over quite a long period of time and I believe myself to have had a reading slump around this time, but I'm not entirely sure if that is the case or it was something else. The romance itself was something I, unfortunately, didn't feel myself connect to. It felt very much like I was being TOLD about how much they loved each other, but they never really showed me, though that could very well just be me. I will say, however, that Simone Soltani definitely knows F1, I never doubted that for a moment, from the terminology used and the situations the characters were in, I enjoyed how real to the sport it felt, and that I think is something that should be commended. Along with this, I found myself really enjoying her style of writing. I think that if she releases another f1 book, maybe about one of the other characters (REID I BEG) I will most likely pick it up, this one just didn't hit for me like it should. Maybe one day Ill reread it and my mind will be changed, but for now I will keep it as an F1 romance I recommend to people who also like the motorsport. ALSO! I adored being able to read about more cultural experiences I myself haven't lived though, like the talk of Devs sisters wedding. I really really enjoyed that representation, and it made it an even funner read. Also...Dev is one fine fine man. Review: Read i repeat need to read - Such a good book!!!!! Another amazing read from simone you kill it girl x can't wait to see more ! Ayyy

Cross the Line
A really well paced romance with plenty of feels and chemistry between the two main characters. I thought the history between Willow and Dev was perfect, as this really made me root for the pair of them. I thought the side characters were also really interesting and I could easily see myself enjoying spin off romances about them if the author did this. The F1 world is not something I am used to, but this made it an exciting ride.

If you like Formula 1 and a best friend’s sister love story, you will love this
My first Simone Soltani read and I loved it, made a change to read about Formula 1, rather than ice hockey, which I do love. Looking forward to reading her next book, Ride with Me

*3⭐️ 3🌶️ Main Tropes: Dual POV Slow Burn Sport Romance 🏎️🏁 Brothers Best Friend Forbidden Romance Points I enjoyed in this book: Dev And Willow Supporting Each Other Chronic Pain Representation Didn’t like/ improve: Growing up I was never a fan of F1 and to be honest I’m still not a huge fan but part of me does enjoy reading books on them. This book was hard reading at some points because I didn’t understand some of the F1 terminology. For me there wasn’t enough spice. Overall I enjoyed reading this book and I can’t wait to read more from Simone Soltani.

Hot F1 Romance
Unexpectedly delighted by this book! Such a cute, and hot, F1 romance! I enjoyed the jet setting of it all and the characters’ back stories, having known each other from childhood. A lovely slow burn that’s worth the wait 🥰 I thought the epilogue was unexpectedly grim though, and thank god for the bonus chapter at the end! 😂 What to expect: - F1 romance - brother’s best friend - slow burn - forced proximity - quite spicy

I loved this so much!
The brother's best friend trope always hits so well for me, and this was no different. Dev was also such a sweetie. I just wanted to constantly swoon because he was being so cute. 😍

I loved this story! Dev & Willow are *chef’s kiss* for me this was the perfect lighthearted story with enough excitement, romance, laughs & spice. It was the perfect combination & amazingly delivered on the diverse aspects of the characters. Loved the portrayal of Dev’s culture & how natural it felt. Overall I really loved this story & would recommend it to everyone especially if you’re an F1 romance fan. ** on a personal note: I experienced this book as a tandem read (digital & audio) & unfortunately the voice actress (Idk if that’s the correct term?) just did not work for me. She was too monotone for how animated Willow seemed to actually be. Aside from that, her voice sounded about the same for all the female characters which made it confusing when I wasn’t following along visually & it really hurt my enjoyment of the story, hence the 4 star rating. On the contrary, the male voice actor did an incredible job & really brought Dev to life for me as well as the other male characters.

Enjoyed this through the cyclone, nice to have a romance book that doesn’t have some ridiculous conflict in their relationship as soon as they confess their feelings to one another, like other books I’ve read. Go you

This was really cute, with great spice, excellent plot and overall story and I loved the low angst it provided. Although it has a setup for some angst and the couple is dealing with various issues and obstacles, they are handled maturely, developed slowly and the couple was given time to be a couple and grow like that. I appreciated the amount of sports/F1 we actually got and how big of a deal both his and her careers were. I was so so proud of them both, especially Dev because his road was more difficult. And having a black FMC with South Asian MMC - yes please!

Ho acquistato per la prima volta un libro usato su Amazon, pagandolo metà prezzo. Il libro è immacolato, praticamente nuovo. Ottimo! Di sicuro valuterò anche per i successivi.
