GOOD SOLID PHONE
The phone looks good, does everything asked of it efficiently and has a reassuring smoothness in operation. Very good battery life too. It has all the usual connectivity you would expect of a modern phone, including NFC which is great for contactless payments (and needed to access my office building!). The camera is fine..........but nothing spectacular. Sound is quite good though. I also have an iPhone which is a better phone in all respects, but cost about £600 more than the Motorola. The Motorola has a number of shortcut features which I love. Three fingers on the screen to take a screenshot is my favourite, which I use a lot. Well worth the money, and as a bonus it comes with a fast charger.

Love my Moto
Great phone. Quick. Doesn't get laggy. Screen is bright and clear. Dual SIM. NFC. Nice size in the hand. Good sound on calls. Pairs to everything without fuss. All the latest Android bits and bobs. The battery can be great or it can be fussy - definitely not more than 2 days off a full charge. And not as good as my old Moto G8. And I don't use the 5G at all. And the cameras are nothing special. Fine for up close but not once you need zoom. As a workorse I can't imagine needing anything more from a phone really, except better battery performance.

Fantastic device for the price.
UPDATE: After trying different chargers, the only downside of this phone is charging times. It takes long compared to my older Oneplus phone. Original charger takes around 40-50 mins and other chargers take more than that. I have used many Android phones in the past and I am an advanced user. This device is great on every aspect. Screen is brilliant, colors are vivid. Good viewing from every angle since it is OLED. Battery holds well. Also I like how the back side is plastic instead of metal. Makes it lighter and I always use a cover so it doesnt matter. Also I love Android stock. I have used MIUI and Oxygen from Oneplus. they are usually buggy and limit some options, but this stock Android 14 is great. The only annoyance is when you first setup the phone it installs many stupid games which I had to immediately uninstall.

Excellent phone for price.
It was a toss up between this and a new folding Moto but I just couldn't justify the price of a folding one so opted for this.Very responsive. Easy to transfer files between phones at start up. Holds charge well and the 30 charger is fast and efficient. Charge lasts two days easily.Very easy to see in bright sunlight. I found the large font you can alter it to means I don't need glasses to read texts or do basic stuff!Great bright colours and screen brightness too.Camera a bit more tricky compared to the G50 I had but I will get used to it. Handy double wrist flip to open camera. The only negative is the case material and texture,it feels cheap and doesn't do the phone justice. The magenta pink shade is really lovely but would have been so much nicer in shiny metal and give it a quality feel- a great shame. Bought it on a Prime Day making it better value. I bought it for the whacking amount of storage as I was fed up with my G50 telling me it was nearly full, multiple times. All apps transferred nicely but I had to sign in to each one individually again, meaning lots of rest emails and codes etc. Overall, I'd say it performs well against many phones that are hundreds more and the regular updates and bumper storage should keep me ticking along nicely!

Great phone at this price point.
I've owned a few Motorola phones - they generally offer great value for money and this is the case here. Performance is good, the display is sharp, the camera takes good pictures outside of low light. There are limitations as you would expect at this price point but this phone does everything I need it to do and doesn't leave me feeling like I need to upgrade. Handset looks sleek and simple and comes with a protective gel case included. Battery life is excellent.

Simple and cheap moto
Can't complain about much, good solid simple phone. There's a few bloatware apps that you can just easily uninstall after you have finished setting up. Good clear bright screen. Good battery and charge time. Uncluttered stock android UI with some useful moto exclusive features (karate chop!) Got this for £180 but prices vary wildly so don't overpay. If I break it or it breaks after a couple of years I wont be bothered, couldn't say I'd feel the same if I'd bought a phone for hundreds of pounds more that doesn't really do anything amazingly different. EDIT Another review spoke of 'forced banner on lock screen', I think they meant the Live Lock screen which shows slideshows when the phone is locked. You can easily switch this off in the settings!

Good phone ,mediocre cameras
I've had a lot of mediocre phones over the years because of my job , this phone replaces a op7T. Camera is not great this includes the selfie camera for facelock. Fingerprint is reliable Memory is used well and phone never lags , even with a lot of apps open during the day. screen is very bright , colours are good but not as poppy as amoled. Battery is just ridiculously long lasting, usually at end of working day I have 20% on most phones , this is at well over 50%. The only gripe I have with the phone is that it has the three buttons beside each other , which inadvertantly caused me to boot to recovery mode while holding the phone in my pocket. Its the first time I've taken a phone out of my pocket to see the android bot on the screen. Its a nice phone and for me it's excellent for work because of the battery.

Amazing value for the money !
This phone has blown me away with its performance.. I was using a Samsung s23 ultra but downgraded as the Samsung is so heavy to hold and wanted something that was lighter but still powerful enough for my needs .. Wow this phone may not have as good of a camera as the samsung but its still decent .. It's 12gb ram and bright screen is super, mulitasks perfectly , very light to hold .. charges fast and lasts all day ... To be honest I'd rather this Motorola g84 5g than the s23 ultra as it suits me way better , fits better in my pocket and most of all I feel for the price it competes very well with even the top end phones .. I hope my review helps
