Magical Beauties Coloring Book: Book 1: Volume 1

WOW!!!! What a stunning book. This is so different from the books I usually buy, I must admit the picture on the cover tempted me to take a look inside, then I went to the youtube link which flicked through the book and I decided to give it a go. I also usually hesitate to buy greyscale books which this range is but when I received the book I was blown away, the artwork is amazing and I found I could use a mix of sharpies and gel pens, finishing off with pencils. [I always tear my pages out so as not to ruin the next one] My only gripe with these books is that the name of the picture is on the back of the previous one so I have gone through and with a silver pen put the names underneath each picture - which does make more sense. I had only coloured 3 pages in when I decided to get another book and yesterday ordered a third one from the same author. So Cristina McAllister well-done and thank you for making your beautiful artwork available for us mere mortals to try to do them justice. I did buy book 2 first and then book1 [this book] but be careful as another book with the same name but a different cover is also on amazon.

Beautiful illustrationsI really am enjoying colouring the pictures.My one issue would be quality of paper, unlike other books i have coloured the pages compared are very thin so you have to be aware if your a fan of gel pens or water colour pencils you may want to rethink.

Beautiful pictures, very different. My only complaint is that the paper could be a little thicker, but pictures are one sided which is great.

Love the book, cannot wait for her next creation to be published.
