Chunky but protective
This case is a bit thicker than I expected, due to how far out the camera cluster sits on an iPhone 14 Pro, but it feels very solid in your hand. The softer inner layer has a nice grip to it on the sides, and the harder shell is textured to give it a bit of extra grip. The buttons are easy to push, and the silent/ringer toggle is beveled to make it easy to reach. No issues with the charging cable getting stuck on the case either. The colour (purple) is quite vibrant - I was expecting it to be a bit more muted (like the colour of the phone itself), but it’s growing on me. I was expecting the inner layer to be a bit softer (more expensive cases I’ve had in the past had silicone inner layers), so I’m not sure how much shock absorption I’m getting out of the extra layer, but it’s better than nothing. Great value for the price.
