Mandoline Slicer Vegetable Slicer 6 Interchangeable Blades Vegetable Cutter Julienne Slicer Grater Hand Protector Storage Container with Peeler - Red

I needed something like this to make some New Year's food and I'm glad they got it to me extra fast. It's works very well. However, it didn't come with any instructions so I'm not sure I'm using it correctly. And now after using it, I cannot get the blade holder I used out of the slot. I also had a hard time figuring out (and I'm still not sure I used it correctly) the place "pusher" gizmos? and the red pusher itself could be improved with a few more nails since sometimes the piece of food you are trying to grate/slice/dice gets real odd shaped during processing. A nice porcelain blade peeler comes with it which was really good to find, and it works exceptionally well although a blade protector would have been helpful (porcelain does chip rather easily). The red top piece doesn't fit on the clear bottom piece really well, there's nothing holding the two together. And it doesn't come in a box so I had to use a rubber band to keep everything together when I'm not using it. It did slice and julienne what I needed done extremely well without making a mess, which I appreciate. I have several other mandolines, even porcelain ones, but this is the one I think I'll be using most because of the nifty clear catch-box.

Great unit, replaced my original unit after many years, would love to get the red or orange set, avalible complete with storage for extra guides. For those who have trouble storing mine hangs on a hook on the wall ready for use.

The blades cut way too thin! My potato slices are transparent!!! Useless product, if I hadn't thrown the box out, I'd return it. Look for something with adjustable thickness.

Used once worked great, but it is already cracked at the first slot where blades are stored.

Extremely dangerous!! I cut the tip of my finger. I don't recommend it at all.
