This is a keepsake book!! This will be treasured and passed on.

I decided to buy this for the grandchildren as one of them has the Robert Sabuda dinosaur book which he loves. There is no doubt that the book is well made and the pop-ups are well-crafted. However, the 3 stars comes because of two drawbacks: Firstly, I know it's hard find an appropriate word for every letter of the alphabet but some of the words do stretch the Christmas theme to the point of being surreal: D - dove (Was there a dove at Christmas? ) U = unwrap. However, the second and bigger disappointment is that the pop ups are made from plain white card. The nature of them makes it difficult to colour them in by hand oneself afterwards and so they are ... well ... a bit dull. And it is a supposed to be a Christmassy thing.
