Q: Is it meant to be loose? Or should be a bit tight on legs and arms?

It is a bit loose on my son’s arms and legs and it makes him very comfortable in it. Lovely wetsuit.

Q: Do your children get too hot in this? I’m wondering if one with less neoprene is better please

I found this one good for in the water, but they did get hot on the beach, for uk holidays where the water is cold it’s great though thick enough so they are nice and warm to splash around or swim. mine wore hers out of the water to dry off but then changed out of it to play as she got too warm just sat in the sun wearing it. We had one for 7 and 2 year olds.

This is the same type of material you would use on an adults one going into the see. But it is not full length so they might still get cold. but warmer than a bathing suit
