Unsafe power adapter
Lamp is nice, magnifier is nice, power adapter is a fire waiting to happen. Obviously not a UL (or any other certifying body) listed device.I unplugged the adapter to find one of the prongs left in the outlet. Fortunately this was in a power strip, so I could easily unplug it and avoid leaving a live prong sticking out.Turns out the only thing holding the prongs in is a press-fit into the plastic, you can see that there's no sign of a crimp or solder on that prong. Further inspection shows that it's some sort of slide-fit inside the power adapter and it's kind of amazing that it ever worked. Those hoops to capture the blades are not at all snug.

Not a large glass to see through
Honestly; the magnifier in this small lamp is too small for me. Hard to line up this tiny magnifier to use and the tightening wing nut does not work properly to hold the arm in the placement to work for me. I would have returned it immediately but I had trouble getting it back in the box!

A welcome product for aging eyes at a great price.
Eyes are growing old and this illuminated magnifier is becoming more and more necessary.Especially handy is the dual mounting system, where you have the choice of clamping the lamp to a table, or by using the included and weighted base.The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that for people who are like me, and who inadvertently like to bump into this lamp (remember, old eyes) the base could be a pound or two heavier to help prevent knocking it over.

Three levels of LED lamp.
I like the adjustable magnifier lamp with the three levals of LED light. I bought It so I can see better to take out embroidery stitches. I do wish it had a cover over the lens to keep the dust off.

Is listed as "Super Bright" and they are not at all bright. Very disappointed. Thanks to Amazons wonderful return policy there was no problem though.

Bought a little over a year ago.
Switch became defective. Loved the light until the switch started automatically turning off after a few seconds tuening on.
