The standard, but Berkey could step up their game a little bit for the sheer cost...
After a hiccup, good! While my product arrived dented, Ikon was quick to rectify the shipper's fault in the situation and provide me with a replacement unit.Aside from the distributor, Berkey has me feeling somewhat like they are mostly selling their name versus a product they work the kinks out of. "Air gaps" from the design of the stackable unit was preventing filtration, turning it into an arduous repetition of re-priming filters. No lie, because of this issue I called Berkey and they ACTUALLY advised me to take to bottom of the unit and roll it on its side to distend the shape of the opening. I shouldn't have to do this with a brand new, very expensive purchase. C'mon y'all! And also it's annoying how you only get a crummy plastic spigot unless you upgrade... Bah! You should get more bells and whistles and not have a nice gleaming unit with a crap spigot. Much of the unpacking and setup just left me wanting the components to have the premium vibe of the main unit. I felt a bit underwhelmed by that aspect, assuredly, and think it would more than pay for itself to include something that helps the customer feel like they're not just coming in on a meh first floor with the product. The implication that you should/can upgrade your spigot, because your $300 Berkey ships with a generic one is really tacky- and speaks volumes.That said, contact THIS seller if you need help- that's way attentive and keen to get you going and rectify problems. Turned my 2 star review into a 4 star. :P

Dents in my stainless steel
I like the whole system and I think it is a very good product but when I received my Berkey it had small dents in each piece of stainless steel that would not pop out. the shipping box was just fine so I am thinking it was due to bad packaging or bad quality control in the factory. to say the least I was not happy after spending $324 on this but I am keeping it and will deal with the dents. This is why I am rating this product low.

I bought the royal Berkey so far so good. Took about 30 min to setup. Looking back I might have opted for the larger imperial.
