Care and Feeding of Sprites (The Spiderwick Chronicles) Hardcover – Picture Book, December 26, 2006

I bought this to share with my granddaughter. I collect fairy books, and this one is super cute. It will be great to read to her now, and fun for her to read to me eventually.The illustration work was inspired by Brian Froud, which is quite apparent. Nicely done, and not scary at all.The book seller gave a very accurate description of the condition of this book and got it mailed out super fast. Faster than Amazon, that's for sure! Thank you for a great book at a great price!

Like I said, if your a spiderwick fand and like sprites this book is for you! It's a very cute book, a little mature, but great. I was hoping there would be more new sprites but it was still cute and gave more information on the field guide sprites... sadly the website it gives has shut down(idk) but the book still lives on! I loved it!

Bought this book (and the other Spiderwick books) for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves them! The Sprites books was the first one I saw a few months ago when she borrowed it from the library. The artwork and descriptions of sprites are simply amazing! These books are a great gift for a child with a great imagination.

I love the book but it’s missing some sprites that where seen in the movie and game for ps2 like for example the bell flower sprite that gives ur weapon a more powerful damage and the blue sprite that is normally found near ponds it surrounds u in a protective barrier I think it’s the pond skater sprite

My children love this book. The pictures and descriptions are intricate and beautifully done. The illustrations have sparked my children's imaginations! They have spent hours studying the pictures and searching our yard for sprites.

I was a little disappointed to see some scribbles of a child’s name on this book when I received it but since I will be using these pages to add to a larger field guide (a scrapbooking project) I don’t mind since it’s only the first two pages and the rest of the pages are in great condition. If this book wasn’t being broken up for a larger project I would have asked for an exchange. Dear Teddy, I will enjoy making my own marks in this book and now don’t feel so bad about making it into something else.
