Aarikka is an established design brand from Finland. The company was founded in 1954 by Mrs Kaija Aarikka and her husband Erkki Ruokonen and is still family owned. In the beginning they designed and manufactured jewellery, but soon home accessories were added. Sources of inspiration for the design are nature, joy and round shapes - resulting in the theme of wooden pearls which runs through the Aarikka jewellery and home selection. The high quality of manufacturing the wood and the good design make the items timeless, representing enduring beauty.
