Highly recommend for middle school math
Eta: 5 months later and my students still love them. I pulled them out again after putting them away for a few months and they were really excited. One 8th grader said that he had gotten a set for Christmas.I teach 6th-8th grade math and this set is super fun and helpful for my classroom. I ordered the set for enrichment purposes, as well as to demonstrate concepts and have my students explore mathematical ideas. Middle school math has a lot of focus on 2D and 3D concepts--these are going to be great for showing different types of 3D figures and easily showing the relationship between the net and the 3 dimensional shape. We're really still in the beginning of the school year, but I can already tell that this will be a welcome addition to my classroom. The shapes are easily manipulated and stay together quite well. Like another review said, I like that they are not magnetic and therefore do not fall apart easily. And they are just plain fun! I had the set sitting on my desk for about 15 minutes and students were already asking to play with it. I have hardly been able to keep my hands off it either. These are great for all ages, just like the box says, but any middle school math teacher can rest assured that it will fit easily into your curriculum.

Best educational product out there!
The story starts with my 3 year old and 8 year old playing with magnetic tiles at their cousins house. They were so enamoured with them that I bought a set. After some playtime, I got frustrated with the fact that this toy was too easily deconstructable. This toy had limits to its usability. After looking around, I found Geometiles. What a find!Geometiles was exactly what I craved, solid interlocking system of various shapes that kids could have endless fun with. Both my kids play with them and love them. My little one is thinking about how shapes put together make other shapes. My big guy loves to build intricate buildings with them and let his imagination roam free. What a great purchase. These tiles are built solidly, and interlock well together (unlike the magnetic version). The colors are great and the website is extremely helpful for parents and little geniuses alike. I couldn't recommend this educational toy more!

Great product!!!!
Product was assembled and packaged extremely well. Nice product to help my children not only assemble (very nice snap fit design), but also enables a clear understanding of various shapes and how to calculate volumes. The shapes create great creativity with the various shapes and colors. I am excited to share these with the other moms in my children's classrooms and our close friends. These certainly will keep them busy--! I find them enjoyable as well to come up with various shapes. I find the website very well organized and has great instructions for the first time user.Geometiles 3D Math Building Set 96-pc, Made in USA

Great set that makes mathematical enrichment fun!
Geometiles are easy to use and let kids (and adults!) develop their spatial reasoning while building amazing geometric structures. They are a favorite among teachers and mathematicians and are a great purchase for any math enrichment program. Highly recommended!

Great for learning young minds.
These are incredibly hardy and easy to use. My son adores them more than magnetic shapes now. They came quickly and everything was in its place.

Great educational toys!
These are fabulous, durable & so much fun to play with. They have provided endless hours of fun for my kids and I love that they are also teaching them geometry and symmetry at the same time.

For K10 - Really
Yes, Geometiles deploy easily in elementary (K5), but my question was two-fold: would the shapes work in secondary and could I send a kit home for distance/home learners? The answer: yes on both counts.Consider the free activity books on Spinners and Volume/Cavalieri - not lightweight topics, but open to 3D exploration. With both the 96-piece and 32-piece Mini-Set-1, Geometiles worked well. All of the tiles and instructions fit into one clear box, having the seven shapes, each in their bag, and sent home. Why, you ask. I teach Geometry/Math 2 as an independent study curriculum. Just having students work online and seeing them once per week really isn't the best of instruction. They need some hands-on that doesn't require teacher support and that can be photographed with their phone. Photos of the constructions are either loaded in Google Classroom or into the Otus LMS (which has a superb rubric grading for free). With Donorschoose, I received funding for kits in days. BTW I've met Yana twice at math conventions. She works hard, knows her stuff, and is pleasant. Nice company.

Great educational fun
The tiles are very strong and really well made. My 8 years-old is constantly tinkering with them. He really loves discovering new shapes. We are even considering the biggest box now.I highly recommend!
