Brought them for use in the workshop.. so i can move the tables/stands i've built around the place, so i get them out of the way when not in use. They move nice and smooth (even though i have overloaded them bit, weight wise) the rubber wheels take up my uneven floor quite well.I've only gave them 4 stars because the brakes on them are plastic and every time i put the brake on i expect them to snap. Having said that only one has so far out of the three set i bought, that was do by someone other than myself who isn't the most gentle of folks.

I was very pleased with the quality of these at a very reasonable prive.I have had them attached to the base of a large oak planter and they support the weight of the planter filled with soil with ease. They run smoothly over my flagged patio area and have taken all the effort out of moving this item.Hint:- I did find it necessary to fit small blocks of wood to the base of the planter, then attach the castors to those block. This made using the braked castors easier when under such a large cumbersome object.

These castors are really excellent, very well made, strong and easy to fit. It's pleasantly surprising how smooth running they are. They have made a heavy and awkward object (which was previously on castors much inferior to these) so much easier to move - pretty much with one finger! Was so impressed by their quality that we have ordered more.

The wheels move very smoothly, even with a large load.At first, I did buy cheaper at a well known DIY outlet and they didnt take the weight and stuck when you tried to turn them on the spot. Please dont make the same mistake. These are strong and I expect them to last a long time.

In "See more product details" the two locking castors are described as having total lock brakes. They don't. Only the wheels lock, not the spindles, so for safety reasons they're unsuitable for a saw bench, and I'm returning them. In other respects they seem to be good quality and good value if you don't need total locking castors.

We have a 4 to 5 feet Christmas Tree in a large square pot which is very heavy. In order to move it around I needed to make a wheeled mover. Bought these wheels for strength. Put the tree on the finished mover and hey Presto, we can move the tree around with ease. Even a joint in the paving s not a problem. Perfect.

Wheels themselves are solid but the locking mechanism is poor and unreliable - not good when using a circular saw mounted to bench with these castors
