After enjoying the most amazing biscuits at a friend's house, I was eager to get the recipe. She surprised me by directing me to this baking mix. At $33 for three 3 lb 4 oz bags ($11 per bag), I was initially taken aback by the price. However, I can confidently say these are the best biscuits I've ever made, so I didn’t hesitate to order. The mix is incredibly simple to use—just add buttermilk and combine. You can roll out the dough or drop spoonfuls or cookie scoop (my personal choice) directly onto a greased baking sheet. They bake beautifully at 450°F in just 10 minutes, leaving enough time to whip up some homemade sawmill gravy. The biscuits come out fluffy, light, and absolutely delicious. Each batch yields 12 generously sized biscuits. The mix also includes recipes for other treats like pancakes and cheddar biscuits reminiscent of Red Lobster's famous biscuits (just watch the salt in the topping—it can be a bit strong). While I wish this product was available locally to avoid the price tag, it’s perfect for special occasions or when you want to impress guests. This is hands down the best baking mix I’ve ever used. I eventually received my item, the USPS has bounced it around Oregon 6 times. Then said it was mis-addressed, not mine, and said they sent it to a guy in California. The biscuit mix is great. The USPS failed seller and myself.

I absolutely love this flour. Makes great biscuits just by adding buttermilk. The butter and lard are already in the flour. Easy to use and saves money when making homemade biscuits.

Hide it! They will want biscuits everyday! They will eat ALL of them! LOL. This product is the best ( kept secret). I ordered it before and it's absolutely the tastiest biscuits we have ever had! Beware, they are short coded, but I store any grain products in the freezer, so it won't be a big issue. If the family finds out, I just got another shipment, they won't be around long! Pricey but we'll worth it when you get tall, fluffy, melt in your mouth biscuits. I even had to purchase a larger 3.5 cutter (on Amazon) I'm gonna hide these in my freezer, for special occasions.
