Makes cleaning fish tank gravel so much easier

The concept has it's limitations but this is as good as any I've used in the past. I sucks up the crud from the gravel and one of the key benefits is being able to take your time because the water is recycled back into the tank. Despite purchasing I have found myself resorting to a regular, small bore (to keep flow low and provide time), siphon which is more effective and fits with my twice weekly water changes. If you're inclined to leave longer gaps between water changes then this is a potentially more useful option.

Not very powerful. But does the job. Would like an extra sponge pad to come with it for the price.

This seems at first to be very good as the dirt from the gravel collects at the top and the water falls back into the tank. However, after about 30 seconds the filter is clogged and the top reservoir overflows. To stop this you have to reduce the airflow from the pump but then it doesn't pick up the dirt. Clean the filter and it works for another 30 seconds then clogs again. So, 30 seconds cleaning, clean the filter, another 30 seconds cleaning and clean the filter again, then keep repeating. Bigger dirt particles such as plant debris isn't picked up at all.Forget this one, it doesn't work.

GOOD BUT TOO BULKY TO HANDLE

Best gravel cleaner I have used to date,very good for deeper tanks.
