Traxxas 8797 Blue Aluminum X-Truck Stand for X-Maxx and XRT

The good: - It props up the X-Maxx fairly secure, even with the tires still installed. There's about 1 1/2" clearance underneath with the Trenchers on. - Traxxas Blue - First of these I've been able to find for a larger scale vehicle. All the rest seem to be 1/8 and smaller scale - locking mechanism to rotate the vehicle is easily accessed, and locks and unlock without any issue - smooth, stable spinning. The Bad: - Expensive, but it's to be expected of a Traxxas product - The truck has a little bit of wobble back and forth when on the mount. I'm not concerned it will fall off of the mount, but it's something I noticed initially. - I wish it had some sort of magnetic tray for hardware. All-in-all, a great stand for the X-Maxx/XRT if it's in your budget and you work on your vehicle often. I had a collapsible step stool sitting on an 18" spinning food platter. So I know this will be more functional, stable, and aestheticly pleasing. Worth the money? Yes, if it's within your budget. I don't think there's much more (if anything) available like this on the market. But it is a solid unit that does what it advertises. 4 1/2 stars, but I rounded up. Hope this helps

Easy to assemble. A great stand for the over the top RC vehicle.

Love mine - have quite a few (including the larger one for my Xmaxx). I have also given them away as gifts as well. Great for working on your truck from all angles, and it snaps in place to lock the RC in lots of different positions. Well made, smooth bearing and holds a lot of different shaped chassis.

0 Stars. I’m not one to complain. I actually like the Traxxas stuff, but this is unacceptable. Screw holes too small, cheap screws, holes not even threaded. I should have seen the other 1 star reviews. They are right. I had to use a knife to score out some plastic to make it wide enough to even balance the screws in, then it took much more torque than should be required to get them in, because it cases the screws to strip just to get them in. Use electric and go quick, but know that once the screws are in they will not be coming out. This is a one and done assembly for the X stand. What crap. Disappointed level…6 Stars. Satisfaction level…-2 Stars.

Grate Quality, would buy again

This is the perfect size to work on my Traxxas Maxx Slash. I thought it was simple to assemble. it's very sturdy. My RC car spins easily.
