This is instant coffee that doesn’t taste instant. It is flavorful, smooth, and aromatic. I was given this coffee as a gift in a basket and was hesitant to try it, but was tremendously surprised how excellent it is. Full bodied and rich in flavor and I love it. I was pleased that I could get it on Amazon.

It is not clear to me whether I am doing something wrong or got a bad batch, or this really is the worst instant coffee I have ever had.My mother was visiting from the UK and drinks mainly instant coffee. SO, I bought a jar of Douwe Egbert's Pure Gold and Indulgance, a jar of Mount Hagen Organic, a box of Starbucks Columbian, and a box of this Kona. They all have their pros and cons, and are all clearly instant coffees, although I would say that the Starbucks shocked me. It makes an impressive cup that tasted more like coffee than any of the others.The problem I have with the Mulvadi is that a single sachet makes little more than tasteless colored water. The same size sachet of Starbucks in the same amount of water made a very rich cup. When I tried two sachets in a cup the taste was over powering. I have no idea what it tasted of, but it was not coffee I am familiar with. I can only imagine that it tasted something like burned day old coffee that had dried out in the pot and then been rehydrated. We have all smelled those pots, and that is the closest I can think of. Come to think of it, I think I'd prefer the day old rehydrated to this. I have never had pure Kona before, let alone instant Kona, so I have no idea what it was supposed to taste like.

I cannot say enough how great this instant coffee is. It has an excellent robust roasted taste without any bitterness. It is as good as any coffee I put through my French Press be it pre-ground or freshly ground beans. If you serve this to someone and they truly don't like it suggest that they switch to tea. I can flip between the two and if I'm not brewing coffee or just want a one-off extra but not tea, this is my go to. Very, very highly recommend!

It taste like coffee here on the mainland. I tasted better bona coffee in Hawaii. This coffee was made in Hawaii, but you can't tell that it was by the taste.

I bought these packets of coffee for my husband as a stocking stuffer this past Christmas. He is favorable of "useful" things so I took a chance and ordered these so that he could use them in field training. When he told me he loved the coffee and wanted to take this with him on deployment, I ordered 15 boxes. I will definitely be ordering again!

Bought for go kit and home use. Shelf life is only about 7 months so I will probably not buy this brand again.

not great but not bad; gotta use two packets in one cup to get it to taste right.and its about same price as VIA, and VIA tastes alot better.
