This is a nice globe to expose the little ones to the countries out there. You can write on it and easily erase. It's also easy to read the text on it and comes with a magnifying glass to make it even easier. Easy to assemble as well.

This globe packs a powerful little punch. It is great for showing my kids the world and helping them put their school lessons into perspective. It came easy to assemble, just screw on the base. We love that we can write on it. It really is a beautiful piece.I took a star away because there are a few small things that could be improved upon. First the marker that comes with it works great, but my son grabbed a dry erase marker and it seemed to be permanent. So I don’t know what type of “magic marker” they used, but when it runs out we won’t have the privilege of marking the globe which was a large part of what we liked about this one. Also I would have liked the marker to have a label since it’s so specific; I did use my label maker to create one.Secondly the base scratched my wood table, so adding a velvet bottom would be a great addition. Aside from these qualms, I do really like the globe and so do my kids.

I got this for my son and it is a lot better then jus showing him google earth pics. Something about the round ball earth concept that makes it more real. Get this for your kids so they dont grow up being a flat earth odd ball.Good for kids and school, It is small but I like it as it dosnt take up the entire desk but its big enough for two people to share.

My girls are 6 and 8 and use this globe regularly. This just sits on their table. It's great you can write with a pen. Perfect for little learners. Easy to assemble and not too large. The colors really pop. I'm not an expert on geography so I can't speak to the accuracy of the scale, but everything seems to be put in place.

Got for my 5 and 7 year old cyber schooled kids. I use it as decor in their room and it looks nice and they use it for school so it’s also functional. My 5 year old loves that it can be written on making circling and drawing lines for connection and to help understanding a thing. Would make a good gift

I ordered this globe as n educational tool for my 8-year old. With an 8” diameter, the globe is not super big, but large enough to make out sufficient details. The globe comes with a dry erase marker, microfiber cleaning cloth, and a magnifying glass. The surface is smooth so that you can mark and write on it. The dry erase marker wipes off easily. The globe is easy to spin on the metal axis, and my son had fun finding different locations. Most countries and some major cities are marked.The reason I took off a star is because the longitudinal lines are not quite matching up with the markings on the stand (see photo). This is a minor issue for us, but just be mindful when ordering.

My daughter is homeschooled and extremely curious about geography since we love to travel around going to different museums and such. This is a great tool for broadening her understanding of the world she lives in and showing her where the US fits in with and around other countries. The marker is a great addition and works well with lessons, and though there may not be a whole lot of use for the magnifying glass, she gets a kick out of using it and anything that keeps her engaged with learning is a win for me.

I am so glad I came across this globe for my six-year-old son. He is currently obsessed with maps and geography, and this globe is just the right size for him. It is up to date, unlike many maps and globes we have found, and turns easily. It is also helpful that he can draw on it because he likes to use lines to connect countries and their territories. A great educational addition to any classroom or home.
