This is a super helpful brush cleaner. I love using it. It is fast and cleans throughly and dries out in seconds.

I bought this STYLPRO cleaner because I have entirely too many makeup brushes (and wear entirely too much face and eye makeup!) and I never clean them. Once in a while, I will briefly dip them in Dawn and water and then they take forever to dry. Honestly, it's easier to just buy news than to clean them. That stops today! I took it out of the box right away and tried to figure it out without even glancing at the directions (yes, I am that person). I THINK I could have figured out how to operate it without doing anything, but decided to go to their website and view their tips video. Some confident looking guy with an accent proceeded to assemble it and at each step he stressed how easy it is and how quickly it all comes together. He gave a few tips about washing liquids and talked about how you dry it while attached to the spindle. He showed a few what not to do stuff and while you don't HAVE TO view the video, even someone like me (who knows everything) felt it was helpful. I have a zillion brushes (no...really). I jumped right in and used a drop of Beauty Blender lavender scented brush cleaner in the friggin adorable little bowl they include in the set and VOILA! my disgusting, makeup corroded brushes were sparkling clean in minutes. The only SLIGHT hang up is that if you have double sided brushes, such as the 2 Tarte sculpting brushes I abuse, there isn't a spindle large enough. Boo hoo, but I am still giving this baby 5 stars+. It was soooo cheap that it makes me wonder if it won't fall apart soon, but it looks sturdy. BE PREPARED to be semi-horrified at the amount of disgusting, gross dirt that comes flying off your brushes as you whirl those babies around in the bowl. One of the best features is if you lift the brush JUST ABOVE the water line while it's still churning, your brush actually DOES dry off and is good to go. FOR REAL. It's kinda the same concept as when you use a hand mixer, if you slowly raise the beaters, most of the cake mix will spin off the blades. I am 100% impressed and for the cheapo price...this is a WIN.

I had old makeup on my brushes. When I first used it, it works really well. Definitely going to use this again in the future.

Great tool

If anyone else is worried about using this tool with anything other than drugstore brushes, don’t be! My brushes do not seem to be suffering any damage. Truthfully I only bought this for the rapid spin drying, and it is very convenient for that. I tested it with my more dense and oddly shaped brushes (Sigma’s 3DHD, 4DHD, BK Beauty 101) and as dense as those brushes are, the machine was able to fan those dense bristles out fully, and they came right back to form when the machine stopped. Fluffier powder brushes are easily reshaped by hand. The bristles are 90% dry in 20 seconds. I still prefer hand scrubbing for brushes that have been used for liquid or cream products. I hate stains, and the StylPro alone is not going to remove those from brushes that are thick with foundation, but it will remove the residue. It is sufficient for removing powder stains though. Drying with the StylPro also revealed soap that was deep in the bristles after rinsing under running water. I have since started rinsing my brushes using the StylPro in fresh water. Very happy with my purchase!

This definitely dries brushes quickly. But it was pretty pitiful at actual cleaning. For reference, I need high coverage for my face so I use foundation daily, and my handful of brushes show it. So I started with those brushes using the included makeup cleaning liquid. It was awful. I tried and tried to get them clean and it became apparent after a few minutes that it wasn't going to happen. Even when I tried one of my primer brushes that had only been used 2 or 3 times, it cleaned it sort of ok, but the brush was super greasy from the makeup cleaner. So I started over. I pulled out my handheld silicone brush cleaner and cleaned my brushes the old fashioned way. Then I used the spinner to do a final rinse and spin to dry. I'm glad I have dry brushes right after cleaning, but not sure I would've bought this if I knew it would only do half of the job. Also, I should note that about 5 of the brushes pictured didn't fit in the silicone sleeves. It's like there's a missing size that some of my brushes needed.

I bought this brush cleaner probably about a year ago and failed to get the motivation to try this. Well, I finally did tonight and it exceeded my expectations! I used the liquid packets that it came with which worked wonderfully, but then thought to record this to show how easy and quick the process was. In the video I am using a different brush cleaner that I bought separately. Cleans quickly, and dries quickly. But take note it will only work on round handle brushes. I used on all size brushes and each time was as good as the others!
