It has mild astringent taste, with pleasant floral sweetness to it coupled with taste of melon and hints of passion fruit. When sipped initially, the taste of mild peppy astringency greets the taste buds which gradually vanishes, releasing complex flavors and orchestrates multitude of sensations in the olfactory and the palate. The sweetness settles at the tip of the tongue as mild citrus like taste . This tea offers a good proportion of complexity and has a sweet after-taste which is sensed settling down after the first sip. The tea is definitely floral which is felt as one sips either hot or relished when cooled. The flavors are more pronounced when the tea is savored as it cools.
