Five Stars for Customer Service
Total Warehouse replaced the very next day a radiator which had been cracked by the courier - no quibbles, no questions, just an apology and a new radiator sent out immediately. Rare excellent customer service - thank you. This ceramic heater was a little larger than I expected - ahem, I should have looked at the measurements obviously... but is ultra, ultra slim like a floor tile and is inconspicuous on the wall and will be moreso when we paint it. What a great idea to make it paintable! In the bedroom, we currently have a 1.5KW heater which wakes us up with its buzzing and humming, so trialing this one and finding it totally silent was bliss. Who wants their last half hour of sleep stolen from them by a heater's noisy thermostat? I'll now buy a digital timer and ensure the silent operation continues. It's been years since we've been able to switch on the bedroom heating before we get up, as it is just too noisy - now, no more freezing mornings sticking on the fan heater to warm up the room quickly. It's not as instantly warm as the previous 1.5KW heater we had in the room, but with such low wattage, we can afford to switch it on a little earlier before we get up and leave it running later. Also, it retains heat for much, much longer than the metal radiators and keeps the room toastier for way longer after it's switched off. The cat has now become a bedroom dweller, as the ambient heat up there at the moment is warmer than in the living room which has 4KW blasting away a lot of the time. Once this surprisingly warm radiator heats up, it stays cosy for ages - and there's not the usual roasting/freezing/roasting/freezing scenario you get with thermostatically controlled panels clicking on and off when you wish they'd just stay on!I'm really happy I tried this unique heater. We've been gradually replacing the Atlantic heaters which were here when we bought the place and which were constantly on the blink, the paint finish was crazed due to the heat, they weren't that quiet in use and we were limited to one timer controlling all the radiators, so we couldn't vary the use in each room, except manually. With different heating needs in different rooms, there's no point in blasting 1.5KW when this 'ceramic tile', using less than 500w does the job - silently.I'm not sure how it would heat a larger room, but it is doing the job in our double bedroom. I might also stick one under my desk in the office to supplement the heater in there, as the extra fan heater costs a fortune to run and as soon as it's switched off, we're back to square one with the temperature drop - whilst this ceramic radiator will store heat and keep radiating even when switched off, like a storage heater does. It's a thoughtful design and should also be commended for that. Don't be afraid of things that are a bit different from the norm.

Slim is cool
Purchased this for my bathroom to replace a postage sized radiator, looks cool, slim and does the job, delivered ahead of timeUpdate.... Did not use it for a year, switched it on this winter and I noticed a hairline crack - contacted the seller who advised that they no longer stock it, nor offered and advise....not funny, used it again, only for the crack to increase in width AND length, 'let the buyer beware' I can only assume I was unlucky with this one

Look ok, warmed the area we wanted, bought two only opened one so far, and two of the fittings were broken so had to make do with two instead of four, manufacturing design I expect. But they do heat up very hot.

Delighted!
This is a really good heater. We bought it to take the chill off a new utility room. It's now the warmest room in the house! It was simple to fit, so was up and working within minutes of delivery. The fittings supplied are very good.We originally thought we would paint it but haven't yet because it looks fine as it I is. We probably will so that there will be a wipeable surface to the heater. Not sure that this surface will stay clean for too long as it is similar to a bare plaster, but much harder. But that is a really minor point and doesn't detract from what it is designed to do, which is to heat a room cost effectively. That is something it excels at!8th March 2016The heater has developed a hairline crack across the middle. Not all the way across, - about 6 inches or so right in the middle. It still works just fine. Might paint it to see if it disguises/hides it.BTW I've plugged it in to a cheap timer I had kicking about, so it's on 30 minutes off 30 minutes. Still warm and cuts down on electricity.Despite crack still pleased and it's still very effective. This review was originally 4 stars. Just downgraded a little because of crack.

Not as hot as it thinks it is
Think of a plate that has been in the oven for a while. That's what you will get with this thing. It radiates heat about as much as a plate out of an oven. Unless you want to warm a WC that has code 3 insulation, this has no guts at all. It hangs on the wall and gets hot but fails to project heat.

Great product.
Winterheat 425W Paintable ECO Low Energy Electric Ceramic Wall Panel HeaterDespite some initial difficulties with a delay in delivery, which, I was informed was entirely due to an error with the carrier, the product arrived well packaged and took no time at all to wall mount it.. the fitting instructions are comprehensive as is the fitting kit to wall mount the heater panel. The fitting kit includes a masonry drill which, apart from a Philips screwdriver and of course a power drill is all the tools needed. The panel has a short warm-up time and a good heat output, the slim line design helps it to be unobtrusive and should the need arise it can be painted. All things considered its a great product.

We tried it and it worked fine and we fitted it in a small storeroom
We bought this heater in Febuary, when we were building an extension. We tried it and it worked fine and we fitted it in a small storeroom. We didn't use it through the summer month but when we had a cold snap in the Autumn we switched it on and it lasted for 4 days only.We put in a complaint to Amazon on 26 November who have contacted the supplier but they have not resolved the issue and we now have a useless heater and a cold room. I would not recommend this heater or the supplier.
