Seems like a well put together table. I was a little nervous after reading the other reviews, but it's pretty solid and not too heavy. Not sure what other buyers expected, but the size is accurate as listed in the description. Everything looks exactly as it does in the photos. Dice aren't as tiny as they appear, fit perfectly in the set and are easy to pick up. Play space might be a bit tight for four people, but looks more than enough for two. Perfect height for throwing a few pillows on the floor or taking with you on a hike/camping trip. Comes with everything you need included. We are super satisfied and excited to play!

Practical and good quality

I’ll start with the basics before we get into the subject of Mahjong. This table is a well manufactured, traditional Mahjong set with the felt table top, deploying legs, full tile set, dice and trays for the players. The hinges for the legs are strong. We’ve had no performance issues when playing and the only notable wear is on the finish of the hinges (see picture) which appears to be a slight wear on what appears to be an anti-corrosion finish. In terms of price and quality, this manufacture is making an excellent product at a very fair (129) price. Mahjong – several versions of it really – are being played by our family across the planet and we decided to join them. We inquired among our serious Mahjong players – traditional Mahjong – and they suggested what type of tiles to look for and what type of set would give us a good, lifetime experience. We selected this one and they confirmed that everything on this set is traditional. The tiles are traditional – meaning you could take this set overseas and they wouldn’t be laughing when you opened the case – the gauge is slightly smaller than some players use. But as you start learning Mahjong you find out that gauge of tiles is very much a topic of personal preference among traditional players. With this table, and fairly active game play, we’ve only started to scratch the surface of this game. As a purchase this table is certainly one for couples and friends who want to pass a social afternoon with friends or evening of game play at home, at a gathering, or even when off the beaten path. As a gift this would be good for Mahjong players, younger people who are getting back into traditional games, and just about anyone that enjoys games of chance, logic, and assessment of one’s opponent’s cast of mind.

The mahjong pieces are small, but I love how light and easy it is to carry the mahjong. It’s also pretty durable other than the plastic card holder, but it’s ever rarely used.
