I had to get this book for PHL 104: Intro to Ethics class at Queens College. We only read a few poes on love in class but I have been reading the whole book. Love it

I have always appreciated Coleman Barks' translations of the Sufi Master. I appreciate the guidance he provides in the introduction, which is very helpful in better understanding Rumi's writings. His writing is ageless.

Not as good as some other Rumi books and translations.

Inspirational and thought provoking, these translations of ancient poems render an ocean, nay a universe, of opportunity for the reader's understanding of life, being, desire and beyond... .

Rumi's Bridge to the Soul is just that! If you want to die to the personality and wake up to, or as, Soul, read it...over and over. Coleman Barks' translation is gorgeous.

Everything is fine

Beautifully compiled, this little book contains not only the ecstasy of the world's greatest writings on communion with Allah, but, includes a look into the mystical world in which this gift of the Lord, lived. Very well done!
