I've been using these wool socks (the "C1-super Thick 3pack") since January 2018 (6 years ago!) and they are still wonderful. They have hardly thinned at all, even after using them most nights and walking around in them in the winter. I typically wear them over some breathable cotton/polyesther blend socks (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EUD4IX8), and by keeping my feet warm, my whole body feels more comfortable.These socks are a wool blend, so they are not itchy, they don't attract moths, and they wash just fine in the washing machine. They might be slightly less effective than 100% wool socks, but they are still extremely warm and comfortable.

Have order several pairs! Love the colors and fit.

These are great socks. They are seriously thick and seriously warm. I wear them around the house to protect my feet and keep them warm. I dedicate one pair for wearing to bed only and keep them under my pillow, washing them with my sheets. My husband thinks they are great regular socks in the winter. 2 improvements could be made. The tops are slightly tight if you are particular about socks never leaving a dent in your skin. I take a pair of small nail scissors and turn back the inside of the top, and stretch it so I can see the white elastic threads. Then I snip about every 1 inch. This loosens the elastic. Some of the elastic strands will pull out and that's fine. Mine still stay up after this but the tops are loose, not floppy or slide down just very loose and leave zero impression on the skin. The length of the sock on one's leg is supposed to be crew, but it is just over the ankle length, so they need to add 2 inches to the sock. The fit on the foot is excellent. They do shrink a bit in the washer and dryer but stretch back out once put on. I wear women's 9-9.5 shoe and my husband wears men's 13 shoe. We both wear the men's large. For me, it's because while the women's fits, it is way too snug for wiggle room and I hate tight socks. For my husband, the men's stretches enough that it fits him well, but they are not loose on him like they are on me. I would like to see all light gray/beige offered and all navy offered as well. The dark gray goes great with jeans, dark pants and pretty much everything and that's what my husband wears. We live in the country where it is cold in the winter. I recommend these socks and do hope they make them longer and the tops a bit less tight.

Yes, these wool "crew" socks are thick, comfortable ... and warm enough. However, in my opinion, these are the shortest "crew" socks I've ever purchased. For me, these are sized length-wise somewhere between a traditional crew sock and a short ankle sock. I will keep them, but for me, they are about 2-3 inches too short. Maybe good for summer hiking, but the short length is not something I'd want to wear in the colder, wetter, Winter months... especially with tall Snow Boots. Maybe it's just these particular socks, and perhaps the other kinds of socks sold by this seller are different, but that's another story...

Warm and soft socks for winter along with great price!

I like these socks a great deal. Thick and very warm. The only think I would change about the make is the cuff is only about 4 inches high and I am pretty use to something more like an 8" cuff.

These socks feel really wonderful. They combine the right amount of wool, the right amount of stretch and the right amount of synthetic to give them durability.However... One typically needs wool socks in times that are cold. That being the case, I felt the need to write a review to point out a product improvement that needs to be addressed. These socks simply need to be about 3 or 4 in longer.Why? In cold weather unless you are wearing tights for underwear. The gap between the bottom of your pants and the top of your shoe is where this sock also keeps you warm. Also, if you are wearing traditional pajamas and you are sleeping, they tend to ride up. So what happens is that a section of your ankles are exposed to cold. I found myself waking up and couldn't figure out why I was waking up until I figured out that a section of my ankles were cold.I don't need a refund or anything like that, I just want this message to be received by the manufacturer so they make a longer version that sits higher up the calf than these.So the three star review reflects the fact that these socks were meant to keep my feet warm and because they are too short they do not fully accomplish that task successfully.

So satisfied. I always have freezing feet.These were soft and thick I feel like I'm walking on a cloud. Perfect for my home which has tile floors especialy when I'm cooking alot in the kitchen.I will be buying more.Love love love. Perfect for cold winter walks. note. you'll need a larger boot.
