The Live traps with release doors are great to have, you can simply unlatch the safety clasp and raise the sliding rear door up to release your animal into a cage or a safe animal reserve or similar area. This is the 9" x 9" x 30" Live Trap with a rear sliding release door. This trap is made out of 14 gauge 1" x 1" GALVANIZED AFTER WELD steel mesh with extra mesh panels welded around the bottom of the trap and under the handle for your protection and to protect your bait. All parts of this trap are welded into place at our factory in Northern Wisconsin with all American Made Materials! This trap is ideal for a Large Cat or Rabbit or even a smaller Raccoon or Woodchuck or similar medium sized animals. These release door traps have reinforcing rods on the door itself and surrounding the rear of the trap where the slides are welded in place on the trap. Our Traps are made with GALVANIZED AFTER WELD steel mesh that's Made in America. We utilize a reinforced mesh treadle, or trip pan, as some call it. This treadle is almost invisible as it blends right into the surrounding trap mesh, making it less likely for the animal to step over it. This see through treadle also makes it possible to put your bait directly under it so the animal can see and smell your bait on the way into the trap. The under treadle placement of the bait also makes it possible for the animal to reach through the mesh treadle, tripping off the trap and catching your animal!
