Not what you think you're getting
I liked the suitcase aspect and the fact that it's 36V in a waterproof case. I'm using this with a Newport NK300 so I'm thinking, hey, this will give me range. It's heavy but not as heavy as three 100AH lifepo4 in series. I've used it for a few trips and never got to the very bottom of the battery charge. Closest I've gone is down to 36V. As I'm full electric on the water I'm pretty conscious of this. What I don't like though is there is a surface charge of ~ 43.8V. which indicates it's full. 30V means it's empty. The NK300 has a throttle controller that shows the remaining battery charge. Once the surface charge burns off I'm quickly from 43.8V (I fully charge it until it's loaded in the boat when I'm going out. So it's full charge) to 40V. This made me curious. Even leaving the box alone for two days I can go back and see after a full charge (according to their charger) it will be 39.9 - 40V before it halts. So I cracked the box open. Pictures speak for themselves. You thought it was packed well, it's not. Hot glue on lithium battery pack. Minimal padding. In one picture you can see a series of LED's on a board (mother, daughter, hard to tell without really pulling it apart which was pointless to me) that are all turned on and running all the time. This a drainer of the battery. The blue lights are on the BMS board (with a little curiousity you can go to DHGATE and see for yourself). Of course and I haven't checked this, it is possible it is bluetooth as well because if you go to DHGATE you can find this battery listed on there and there is a bluetooth option it can ship with. That's definitely going to cause quite a drain on the battery because it's constantly broadcasting. I'd advise you to watch the voltage. It's getting hammered even when you don't use it. It's ridiculous. The idea was really great. I really loved the idea behind this. I was hopeful. But it's just not there. It's a disaster for $1K and minimal use. Extremely disappointed. I will have to see about returning this because it's not acceptable. Edit: I am outside the return window. So if you want to burn $1K you can definitely do it this way. The battery is a scrub for me. And I'm willing to bet it will be for you as well. Sometimes it's just worth paying the premium although I didn't know the premium that was on 36V batteries when I bought this. I'll likely just default to the newport battery for now. Out of everyone they are the most affordable for the AH and have a bluetooth in their suprisingly light battery block. I'd go through a dealer and not the manufacturer website for that of course. I may just rebuild the battery pack myself and do something different with the BMS at some point. The case already is drilled out saving me some time from getting it off of Harbor Freight and doing it myself.

Well suited powerplant option for your trolling needs.
Purchased this for my new Saturn 10 feet inflatable boat with Watersnake 34LB thrust trolling motor. The motor was rated to run for 60 AMPH but this battery was doubling that for longer run time. It was great to see high AMP battery option included as trolling ready waterproof package with charger. The battery arrived well packed with all accessories. Probably it was precharged so didn't take much time to fully charge. All the accessories and input/output ports worked as expected. The quality of casing and internal components looked very well. The included ports are similar or better than most of the high end battery boxes out there hence you save a lot of money in buying this separately. It is heavy but size is manageable for a small boat or kayak based applications. I have taken it for trolling at full throttle speed for almost 1.5/2 hrs and the battery charge did not deplete more than 25%. It says in the product description that the battery usage % may not be accurate so it is tough to know true usage. This is the only knock on this model. Hindsight I think I should have purchased model with bluetooth based battery capacity tracking app. I will try this out for a full day of operation to know if I am getting all advertised AMH and provide an update. I have added a 60 AMP circuit breaker and created a custom Anderson connection to connect to Trolling motor using provided connector. So far this has been a great experience. Buy with confidence.

GuaiGLong for the win
I can not express how much I am infatuated with this battery its light, powerful, durable, and water tight. I was so excited to try it out that I took my kayak out in 48 degree weather. It out preformed my expectations, out of the box it was a winner. I doubted this for a long time I stuck with lead acid and the weight alone should have been the kicker but when you eliminate 40 lbs it just changes the feel(Not to mention how much smaller it is in comparison). If you are on the fence about a battery look at these for the long run. Yes its a little pricey but worth every penny. It's capable of handling my garmin, fish camera, and lights. That brief 3 hour trip i stress tested the ever loving snot out of it and it didnt bat an eye. Now when the weather warms up and im taking it out more and more I will revist this review. But so far so good and I couldnt be happier. Not to mention the customer service guys keeping in contact. To your team at GuaiGLong thank you for offering this and I wil spread this info as far as I can.
