So far this has been my favorite Ninja purchase to date. We have the FrostVault, Speedi, and a blender. We try to find multi use appliances living full time RV life and this does not disappoint!! We’ve used it five times since we purchased it three days ago. Smoked a brisket, browned a mac n cheese, baked beans, burgers, and tots! I was hoping it would work well, but my husband and I are thoroughly impressed by this!!

This is the best invwntion in cooking ever. You can control the bottom heat and top heat separately. Crispy smoked pizza without burnt crust.Stick a temp probe in a steak. It tells you to take it off and allows for temp rise while resting. Everyone gets their steak their way.Large pieces of meat are set itand forget it with the probe. It will turn itself off and not overcook.Air fried wings with smoke! What!Ninja quality is always far above standard , barely works department store junk.If i could give 10 stars i would.

I love this!! One my best purchases of all time!! So easy to use especially when using the app! I've used just about every function.

I live in a Condo and have always loved to grill. After replacing so many over the years (not to mention my not being "allowed" a gas grill on my deck), I did a TON of research and decided to try the (not inexpensive) Ninja WFG Pro-Connect XL.It will take some getting used to! When I say you always cook to temperature - not time, I'm being serious. This this cooks FAST. Buy yourself a meat thermometer because you'll need it. I NEVER cook to time - ALWAYS to temperature.I watched SO many reviews on YouTube it isn't even funny. Now, most of my cooking is spent the night before prepping and marinating, and watching cooking videos (either Cooking With CJ or Dad's Got This). These are my favorites.I've done steaks, chicken, shrimp, pizza - you name it! Beef Jerky, Fried Eggs and Bacon to whole Chickens...For as worthless as YouTube seems, there are some great videos and reviews on this Grill. Buy one and I know you won't be disappointed. Just promise that BEFORE your first grill, you season the Grill Plate. You'll thank me later when you go to wash it. If you season it, you'll place it in the sink and wash it off under hot water - NO endless scrubbing!I think it should be a Law NOT to own a Ninja WFG Pro-connect XL. Please DO get the Pro-Connect XL... You'll be very happy - just remember; it will make you cook differently. Cook to temperature - NOT TIME.

Pretty cool grill, I named it "Let him cook" on the app.Pros:Overall it has some neat functions, a major appeal was if you had to take an emergency bathroom break, you could turn off the grill from your phone in the bathroom! So how can you complain with that?! Overall build quality seems good, it has some heft to it but can still move it around. I grilled some burgers and they tasted great, the app makes it super easy to time your food just have to remember it is still hot even if you have it set to be timed.Cons:Connectivity, if you press the circular button in for a few seconds it will make you pair the grill, this is great as a first time setup but if you forget what holding that button does then you'll have to reconnect all over again and it takes awhile to do this, if you turn off the grill it will not reconnect until you do the process all over again from within the app.Potentially a big issue, the grill plate has a drain to remove the oil to a grease collection container. However a lot of the time the grease does not go to the back drain as it should, some kind of tilt mechanism should have been included to tilt the grill/cooking plate back so the grease easily flows out. Otherwise it is a pain to clean, I tried to tilt it slightly myself while cooking by placing a towel underneath the grill legs but when I was cleaning the whole thing later I saw some grease had gotten under the plate and near the heating element. This could potentially cause a grease fire.Other things:For this price it would have been nice if it came with a stand rack so you could cook more food above like a hotdog rack or something. Also it should have included some kind of cover.Update be careful if you like to put cheese on your burgers while the grill runs. I placed them then shut the lid to let it cook for just a little longer and the Grill fan blew my cheese off :(
