Use for fishing from both boat and beach. Shirt feels good now - in January - but I'm not so sure about July/August. We'll see.

I love this shirt. I have another Koofin fishing shirt that is extremely comfortable and has worn well. Saw this and couldn’t pass it up for$10.00. Fits perfectly. Can’t wait to use it!

As a Florida resident, wanted a light weight long sleeve shirt for beach and pool days that protected me from the sun both in and out of the water. These shirts fit perfect, very light wearing, good looking, and compared to retail store prices was a true bargain.Would buy again, and when my cotton shirts are retired will replace them with more of these!

Koo-Fin is the best, they fit exactly as expected. I have one for the water (Large) one for hiking (XL)... workmanship is awesome, cool in the sun, just enough cling in the water. Easy clean up, hard wear.... no Problem-O, no buyers remorse, worth every penny

Hold up well with frequent use and washing, good value for the $29 price point. As for sizing comparison, the medium Koofin is very comparable to the small Huk. Material is a tiny bit heavier than Huk, but seems like the UPF doesn't work quite as well, still does a good job though. Would love to see these in bright orange camo for ocean kayak fishing/visibilty and a quarter zip with small mock collar to give more complete coverage. Buffs tuck in OK but tend to slip out leaving small area at back of neck exposed.Update after 6months of heavy use: Original comments were pretty accurate, the SPF does seem to work just fine. I have 3 of these and various Huk shirts, I prefer the Koofin with the "mesh" side strips, they breathe well and help keep you cool. I wash these probable two-3 times weekly and they held up excellent. The biggest downside I still see is the lack of hi-viz orange or chartreuse coloring for visibility in the ocean kayak setting. The mustard yellowish color they offer is about the same as dirty sea foam, not a better option for hi-viz/safety. Aside from that, I love these shirts for functionality.
