SAMSUNG SmartTag2 (2023) Bluetooth + UWB, IP67 Water and Dust Resistant, Findable via App, 1.5 Year Battery Life - White

I was looking for a key tracker and I have a android phone so I decided to buy this tracker.... It works great. I like how you can replace the battery. I would definitely recommend this tracker if you have a android.

I keep one in each of my cars just incase, they are small and battery is still going strong 6 months in. I did get a low battery warning on one of them when it was brutally cold outside but continues to work as the weather gets warmer.

I have a note 9 and these still connect. I have them on my cat collars. These work best in town or someplace where there will be a lot of people with phones around, not super great out in the country. The network of samsung phones will help detect your tag. So far they're decent and are detected by my husband's phone as well (also a note 9).

The product info states that for my Samsung cell phone to connect to the SmartTag2 it must have Android 11 or higher. The tag arrived before my new phone (with Android 11). My phone used Android 10. I decided to try to see if I could use the app and have it connect to the tag with Android 10. Amazingly it connected.I use this SmartTag2 on my dog in case he gets out. Although it's never happened, if he does escape I want to find him before long he gets his microchip scanned by animal control.It was very easy to obtain the app and set it up for access to follow the SmartTag2. I think this is a great little air tag.I recommend the Samsung SmartTag2.

They are ok. Little slow 15min to show my phone moved. Dog must be close to WI Fi but it gives u a place to start looking unless he goes to the woods

I use this as a dog gps tracker. I've put it in a waterproof case because my dog goes swimming most days. I love this tracker, inexpensive, no monthly fee and very reliable, oh and the battery lasts a long time. Overall very happy with it

I have purchased 12 of these Samsung SmartTags2 and the previous SmartTag model. They are great for tracking anything and everything, your keys, cars, luggage, valuables and even your parents by attaching them to their cellphone wallets--a muat have for when you travel and want to let your family know your location. HOWEVER this 2nd version has such a bad battery life! I have had this one for less than a month and it's already telling me that my battery is low. The original Samsung SmartTag (pictured here in black) I've had for over a year and I have yet to change the original battery. It may be that I also have allowed another person in my household full access to it that may be an additional cause to the battery being drained. That being said, it still has various sound options for you to find while using the Samsung SmartThings App.The cons:If you're buying a silicone cover, make sure to buy a metal carabiner such as the one in the picture in the left. The one on the right will break.-Low battery warning less than a month after purchase.-Has to be deactivated from the original phone that it was registered and paired with.-It takes a while to pair and you'll have to update the software before it is able to pair.Pros:-Value foe your money. I have purchased these at $16 and $20 on sale.-Lightweight-Large keyhole that will not get pulled over time or break vs the original SmartTag-Works with a Samsung Galaxy S20+-Allows multiple people access to the keyfob, from full to partial access.-Will save you time from looking for X thing and driving you nuts.-Great for tracking people who are being sneaky links!

bought two. only one worked. new in box though so that's a plus. Both had to be reset before attempting connecting to my phone. The second one just would not connect even when on top of my phone. It's my 4th tag so like ik how they work.
