Zatarain's Prepared Horseradish, 5.25 oz

If you use very large amounts of horseradish then this bottle is not for you. It only is a couple ounces of course radish for me which is good I only have shrimp from time to time and like to make my own cocktail sauce fresh with my own catchup and ingredients. Or if I’m going to have beef sandwiches it gives me enough to put on there without opening a gallon bucket and having to keep it in the refrigerator. This bottle is very small and compact and hides easy on your refrigerator door for use plus you will use it quicker so order two or three bottles so you can always have a back up available start each bottle will stay fresh. I find if I buy a large quantity of something that I only use in frequently by the time I go to use it all the flavor seems to have escaped. This has an excellent taste I was very satisfied with it and think you will also enjoy it plus the ease of use. I hope this review helped years but I would definitely buy this again

I bought one, seal was broken, leaked. Bought another again it arrived with broken seal. I know it is not an expensive item, but not being able to get a refund is wrong. I won't buy again

I get that the size of the jar is posted, but I had no idea 5.25 Oz was so dang small! It looks like a jar of baby food.It tastes OK, the consistency is thick like paste, but a little it on the runny side. (like baby food also).It tastes like horseradish. Not too strong or 'spicy', pretty mild flavor compared to others I have tried.No, I would not buy this again.

I use it for sauces and cooking and sides. Absolutely great stuff.

I always use Gold's Horseradish but lately, it's been lacking its kick. So I thought I'd try Zatarain's. I use horseradish on hard-boiled eggs. Finally a good noise clearing heat. Unfortunately, it more of a puree than a fine grate and it's a little too watery for me especially on eggs. Also not so pleased with the ingredient list (artificial flavor, HFCS, cellulose and xanthan gum, and preservatives). I also prefer glass bottles to plastic.

I don't like horseradish sauce because it's not hot enough for me so I prefer the real horseradish. This is the cheapest I've ever found, and tastes like any other brand. In order to get free shipping, you'll need to purchase $50 worth of merchandise, so wait until you have a few more things to add to your cart.

I’m sure the horseradish is great, but when I got it it had leaked out of the jar and the plastic bubble wrapping. It’s meant to be refrigerated after opening, so I’m afraid to use it, making it a waste of money.

Sooo, I am a heat seeker. I am all about HOT sauce, hot mustard, hot horseradish. My family on the other hand like mild things, this is a winner for us all because although it lacks the kick I enjoy, the flavor is great.The flavor is very mild and to my surprise vinegary, it works perfect mixed into mayo for a sandwich spread.
