GAT Italy Fashion 6-Cup Stove Top Italian Espresso Coffee Maker Pot, Aluminium, Black, 10 x 20 x 17 cm

I took my time before rating thus espresso maker, since the day I replaced my electric hob with an induction hob, I went through many espresso makers and they all have somethings in common when used with induction hob:1, they made it so watery with no bite to it2, the hot water filtering through seem to take à straight line as opposed to spreading out across the diameters of the espresso maker hence not thick enough espresso( if I dear call it that)3, despite their claim the material were stainless steel, they all start rusting inside (gross)This one is a different beast! Having used this product for the past few months I can say not only this is the best but also the only one that works properly on induction hob. At this price it's a bargain!!!

Reasonable looking from a distance, close up there are very obvious moulding artefacts on the lid. Not serious problem, however:IT DOES NOT WORK ON INDUCTION HOB.This is probably due to it not containing enough magnetic metal. It might work on a smaller induction ring, but the standard rings on my hob would not detect it and would shut off.Works when sat in a pan on the hob but that totally defies the reason I bought it.
