This Wooden Rodeo Horse Puzzle is 8"Long,7 1/2"Tall, 3/4"Thick, it has 11 pieces. The base is 9 1/2"Long, 2 1/2"Wide. The section that the horse fits into is stained a little darker, this adds depth as this is suppose to be the ground. This section also fits over a dowel in the base this keeps the puzzle from falling over. The wood I used is Oak plywood, I like this wood because it has a nice grain finish. I wanted to make a puzzle that you would like to give as a gift, this would be great to give to someone that has an office. The puzzle would look great on their desk or shelf, something to brighten their day a little. And I wanted it to look great in your home, especially in a child's room that likes horses.
