Edited: 1/30/26 I have tried a few of these types of amplified indoor antennas, this works as good as the good ones at a great price. The performance of these antennas depends completely on your situation: how far are you from the broadcast transceivers, terrain, direction and building construction. I do not believe it will pickup signals as far as 180 miles, realistically about 20 miles away. I have the antenna on the second floor of my wood frame house tied to a Tablo TV for my DVR / streamer to my iPads and TV. (Did try it out initially on my Samsung TV with no problems either.) I hid the antenna in cabinet in the middle of my 2nd floor house. Most of my transmitters are about 9 - 23 miles away. I get about 41 channels. This antenna is not omnidirectional, but it was not as directional as I feared. I was able to get all my important stations without requiring rotating it. I was getting 3 network channels well and 2 was intermittent, I shifted the antenna by 45 degrees and I got the two channels better without losing the other 3, not bad. The major network was very strong since mine are close, less than 10 miles. I have not tried this exact unit but I believe if you do not have a strong signal, it would not work as well in a steel framed apartment building unless you could place the antenna outside or against a window facing the transmitter. If you are far way, don’t expect miracles. Perform a search for “hdtv antenna reception map” and enter your location to see how far is your transmitters, don’t expect miracles if it is far. At the price for this antenna in particular, it is worth a try.

So far great. Picks up 28 local channels in one room and 70 local channels in another. Not sure why the large gap with reception, but I get all the local channels I desire.

I bought this antenna thinking I was upgrading from my trusty 2020 model. My old one has a shorter cord, lower range, and no amplifier, yet it consistently pulls in about 30 channels without breaking a sweat. This one has a longer range, longer cord, built in amplifier, and 4K support. It sounds like the deluxe ultimate edition. It picks up zero channels. Not a few. Not even one fuzzy station. Zero. I tried it with the amplifier on and off. I rescanned multiple times. I moved it around the room like I was helping it search for better life choices. I even tested it on two different TVs. Absolutely no signal. At this point my old antenna with “worse specs” deserves an apology. Very disappointed. Now I get the added bonus of repackaging it and making a return trip. If you are looking for an antenna that specializes in receiving absolutely nothing, this is the one.

As with most indoor TV antennas, they seemingly only get the channels that you could also receive with a wire hanger...at least you don't pay much for this experience. Note: this antenna performed as poorly as much much more expensive antennas!

- This item is great other two antennas I ordered was defective. Ordered this one just in case, it was a little more. But worth the price. I think it’s the little attachment that makes it better. Got a lot more channels than the other antenna I had. Very easy to use, it’s black and just the right size. Reception was quick and easy. Picture was clear. Definitely worth paying a lil extra. :D ordered it in time for the big game.

The product it self was well made and packaged well also. It did not work for us we do live in a high rise. Could be the issue. Return was easy

Does not work! New TV New Antena

J'attends l'antenne pour lundi le 9 décembre 2025. Mon fabricant de tv me dit que lez antennes avec des amplificateurs bas de gammes ne font pas un travail excéllent. Je n'ais pas grand argent alors je tente le coup même si je vais recevoir 4 chaînes local à québec québec au canada. Je me questionne sur son efficacité, mais les commentaires et le nombre de ceux ci me font croire que le 4.1 sur 600 commentaires donne un résultat dit convenable. J'ai une tv google et anciennement une samsung qui elle détectait des chaînes numériques à profusion du genre 300 channels donc canal natureescape en option chez votre service télé. Je regrète ma tv samsung mais elle avait un peu d'âge et fonctionnait super bien. Ma tv google sony bravia sans moyen x ne capte aucun poste internet, cable ou antenne alors je tante le coup encore une fois pour me débarasser de l'internet et le câble. Mon forfait cellulaire de 100 gigs a la possibilité d'être un point d'accès dans le contrat vendu tel quel noir sur blanc. Donc à tout le moins je m'abonnerai à un service internet de donnée vu que j'écoute 30 minutes par jour de tv. J'ai reçu l'antenne. J'ai 4 postes dont un qui est trop faible pour la réception. Je le savais déjà que j'aurais 4 postes maximum en raison des diffuseurs local dont les stations à québec quebec sont peux nombreuses et sans intérêt tout de même je reçois tva, mais c'est pas une chaine de nouvelle en continue.

Smaller HD TV antenna. Channel scan finds less than 50% of channels found by same type of antenna (though other paper antenna were larger). Would not recommand this product.
