Great flavor
I’ve ordered this seasoning several times from this seller. It is always fresh and delicious. Adds great flavor to Mediterranean/persian meats and vegetables.

Seasoned
Good seasoning and robust flavor. We enjoy adding it to olive oil and some salt to dip with a nice bread.

Very good Zaatar, but.....
I'd been buying zaatar from The Spice Way and Jansal Valley (Zahtar) here on Amazon for years, with Jansal Valley's being my favorite (but which apparently is not available right now). The cost for either is about $3.50/oz. And I never really thought about how much I was paying or consuming, until I noticed my order history and saw how often I was buying it. This morning it dawned on me that I might want to find a bulk supplier, since I live in a city that has the largest Arabic speaking population outside the Middle East (Detroit). I called a local Lebanese grocer and asked if they sell bulk zaatar, and was told yes, of course. I asked how much they charged and was told $6 per pound.....!!!! I'm looking at a pound of it, and it looks, smells, and tastes just like the zaatar I buy in small quantities...let's see: $6/lb vs $56/lb ($6.99/2oz x 8)....hmmmm. Don't get me wrong, this is still very good zaatar, just incredibly expensive. Buy bulk :)
