Great catcher
if you're dealing with a mouse problem and want a humane, effective solution, then the Motel Mouse Traps are the way to go. They're easy to use, keep everyone safe, and offer a catch-and-release option that respects the critter while protecting your home. I highly recommend them!

Great idea in principle but design poor
Mice getting into garden shed so following reviews bought a triple pack. I should have taken notice of the previous poor reviews. On the 7 occasions I set them I caught a mouse on 6 of those. One died (possibly from fright) and 4 had tail caught, with partial or complete degloving of the tail. NOT humane! Won't use again as cruel. These traps are not fit for purpose.

Best humane mouse trap on the market
The media could not be loaded. I discovered we had mice in the garage and my existing humane traps were showing their age, so I purchased a pack of four 'mouse motel' traps. They arrived a couple of days ago around 6pm. I unpacked and put out two traps right away, went to check them an hour later and already had caught one mouse. Since then another 3 mice have found their way into my mouse motel traps. All the mice were released in woodland away from my home. This is an excellent product. I cannot recommend these traps highly enough.

Works really well
Definitely works! Managed to catch a few mice within a few days and still have them down. I would recommend to check very regularly. The only thing I would say would be one trap did chop a mouse’s tail off so felt a little bad about this. However more humane than poison or kill outright snap traps. Chocolate spread definitely the best bait also to use I found. Easy to use and clean

They work!
I added some peanut butter into the bait area and sure enough caught two mice in my loft overnight the very first night. Released them into the fields some way away from the house.Edit: The door sometimes catches the mouse's tails then you get a bloody and broken tail as they try to get their tail free. This happens about every third catch. I will modify the doors to allow more space and minimise the chance of the tails getting trapped. The traps are easy to clean but you need a small brush or pipe cleaner. And be careful not to dislodge the spring underneath the trap actuator.

These. Traps. Work.
I thought I had a mouse. Set 4 traps, caught 4 mice. These work very well!Totally gross, and a bit fiddly to release, but I'll be resetting again tonight.

Effective but has issues
We bought these to humanely remove mice from our loft. They do work but three out of five times the door has trapped the mouse’s tail - tonight it actually severed the tail which made me feel so bad as I didn’t notice until after I had released the mouse. Two out of the four traps also broke when the small plastic lip which holds the door open broke off so we cannot set them any more. They are now in the bin and I’m going to try to file off some of the door on the remaining two to try to avoid tails getting trapped again.
