One special feature I did not expect... more on that below. This didn't fully fit my purpose but I have to say it is really well-built. I had my reservations because it is plastic. But it is very strong and I would imagine that in a vehicle, where you set it up is where it is going to stay. I got it so that I could mount a tablet above my primary monitor at my desk. I was hoping that the arm would articulate down below the level of the mount. It does this, but it makes it so that it extends too far forward. I am still going to use it for this but only because of a feature that I did not expect. It was two 1/4" threaded receivers. One on the top and one on the back. So I am going to attach it to an 11" magic arm (used for photography) and clamp that to a wall bracket that I already have. This should get me the result I am looking for. So at this price, even if all I got was the tablet bracket with no mount and arm, I would still have purchased it.

It is better than I expected, I’m always iffy on the mounts that claim they stick to the dash because they never do. This is by far the best stand I’ve had it holds super tight I’ve put it in and it hasn’t moved. I gave it mounted in a big ford F-650 tow truck which is a pretty rough ride and it holds fantastic. Especially for the price you can’t beat it. I would buy this thing again and again without hesitation. It’s a fantastic product and well made.

This thing is BIG! I mean, seriously built like a tank Hercules big. But I guess if you're putting a tablet on something held with a suction cup, it had better grip like, well, Hercules. And it does, I'll give it that. We put it in a Toyota 4Runner, not exactly a big rig, but placed the suction cup as low as possible on the windshield. The articulated arms are extremely adjustable, so it's not hard to get the placement you want. I tried to get one of the arms to actually bear weight on the dash itself which greatly minimized vibration from the road, and I'll probably put some padding there just to keep the dash from getting scuffed up, but it really took the majority of the vibration out. You can't really have this thing sticking completely out in space with the weight of a decent size tablet on it without some vibration so this is a great solution to that. But even if you did, I don't think you'll have to worry about the suction cup failing. It's SUPER secure, just make sure your glass is clean and stick (and clamp) it on. So far, no issues whatsoever staying in place. I'll be curious in the summer when it's 100+ degrees but I'm very optimistic it will hold well.

Strong structure and Very strong holding 10” GPS.

Easy to install but rattled constantly and was very annoying. Glad it wasn't too expensive, so I didn't feel too bad about not being able to return.

While the design mostly looks burly and thick, the connection between arm and phone holder clamp is thin and spindly. Feels like eventually it'll break off at that point. Really a shame since the rest of it looks so tough.
