I love the color, I love that I can just flip it over to sharpen and I LOVE that I don’t have to wear anything else over it!

I look for a few things in a lip liner. First and foremost, they must define the shape of my lips and keep my lipstick from bleeding. Secondly, they need to last through talking and living and can’t just fade away in 20 minutes. They absolutely need to help contain my lipstick and keep it from feathering upwards.With 2-in-1s, I need a bit more. It has to have the qualities I need in a liner, of course, so it must be firm enough to be my base, boosting pigment and preventing fading and feathering. It also must have longevity and it can’t cake, crease or settle into lines. Yet it also needs to be soft and blendable enough that it can completely replace my lipstick and give me at least a hint of lasting color. Finding that balance is hard. Most often, 2-in-ones fail by being too firm and it feels like I’m trying to draw on my lips with a lead pencil. This one does not have that problem. They sometimes go the other way and may as well call themselves lipstick pencils. This one is closer to that. It’s but is not the worst I’ve ever tried, but it’s not the best. That said, it’s certainly worth $3, and to be honest, at this price point I am pleasantly surprised!The shade I got is highly pigmented and goes on with a matte finish. Using it first as a liner, I was happy that the texture was firm enough that I could draw sharp lines. i remained happy when I started to fill in my lips. It definitely looks and feels like I’m wearing a matte lipstick and not like I colored in my lips with a pencil. It is very blendable and the lip color had longevity. I reapplied a few times in 6 hours, but even when it wore off, my lips were stained a nice color..I was ready to give it five stars until I applied a very light layer of gloss just in the center of my lips. At that point, it stopped working as a liner and the color migrated into the fine lines that are just beginning to form around my lips and were completely invisible moments before. I grabbed some concealer and another brand of liner and cleaned it up, but I really like the shade of this pencil, so I used it as my lipstick.I’d recommend this, but would avoid using gloss or anything but solids on your lips if you’re using this as your liner. It also did not seem waterproof at all to me, but I didn’t go swimming while wearing it, so take it for what it’s worth.

I've bought multiple colors, and they are true to the shades shown. They last fairly well throughout the day, even through eating, they don't smudge, just fade. I'd buy again, and recommend to others.

Very pigmented color and creamy texture made for a good wearing experience. Didn’t bleed like crazy and didn’t wear off too quickly.
