Good EDC

Simple, sturdy and inexpensive for an EDC…I’ve lost 2 $$$ to the TSA because I forgot I had them in my pocket. I’ve since remember to pack in the checked luggage, but still if I lose it or forget. It’s not a costly memory lapse.

Best knife for the money I've ever seen

I bought this for my 12 year old son for his first pocket knife. I was looking for something decent but not to expensive. After a bit of research I saw quite a few people who mentioned this pocket knife is said to fit that criteria. Well I got the knife in the mail today and to say I'm impressed would be a vast understatement. It seems to be extremely well built and razor sharp, literally razor sharp I tested its sharpness against my arm hair and it shaved my arm as good as my gillete would have. What impressed me the most though is the fact how well the linerlock on it held. When I say there is zero blade play I mean zero blade play none. Not side to side up or down not at all. It is so tight you might think it's a fixed blade if you couldn't see the lock. I really am impressed. Someone on here said that the d2 steel is softer then d2 he is used to, I can't say I obviously fidnt have to sharpen it because like I said the knife is razor sharp already but either way I'm sure it is d2 steel and for the price they have it for on here I can't imagine you will find a better knife for the price. I have a kershaw blur the s30v model of it that I paid right around 100 bucks for blades hq has it listed at 115 now and amazon has the regular version of the blur the 14c28n steel for 75 bucks. D2 even if it's a little soft d2 is still far better steel then 14c28n steel. And the build is miles and miles better the the blur. Well done...

Good Every Day Carry Knife

A good regular carry knife if you need a larger blade. Takes and holds a edge well enough. Pivot tends to loosen over time and a bit of a pain to tighten. Keep an eye on it and tighten before it gets too loose. All in all a good day to day knife you will not feel badly if you scuff up or get dirty. A good value.

D2 is best steel for pocket knives! Can’t beat for price!

The media could not be loaded. Amazing knife for $20… I’ll never get any other steel than D2 after owning this knife. It is easy to sharpen but holds an edge for a really long time. Perfect size with good clip. Sturdy nice great for EDC. Highly recommended!

No clue if it's D2, but a GREAT flipper!

Wasn't sure what to expect, but I really like this flipper. Steel came sharp and has stayed sharp. No clue if it's D2, but it acts better than most Chinese stainless steels I've used. The knife is LIGHT! The G10 scales cover a lightweight skeletonized frame with large cutouts, making for a larger knife that carries like there's nothing in your pocket. The bearing is S-M-O-O-T-H, and the detent is solid. The blade stays in place until you decide it doesn't. With a solid flick to get past the detent, the bearing engages and the blade rolls out like...well...use your own imagination to think of something velvety smooth and well lubricated and you'll probably be right--I'm too tired to figure out a good metaphor :) ). There is very little friction.Only downside so far is that there's no thumb stud. Only real way to deploy the blade is to use the flipper, which I've yet to find insufficient. The blade locks up solidly and releases easily.I wish I could trust that the steel is well-treated D2. It would then be worth far more than price being charged. Since D2 is an American-made powdered metallurgy carbon steel, I strongly doubt that this is really D2. Hopefully, there is a rough Chinese carbon steel equivalent and this isn't just the regular ubiquitous Chinese stainless steel. But for the price, I'm happy either way. Like I said, the blade is solid and it holds a somewhat toothy-feeling edge. I'd prefer Chinese companies be upfront with the exact steel they use, and not list the US steel equivalents--I understand the rationale, but find it somewhat dishonest. No clue if that's the clue here.Whatever the case, overall, this knife is a great value for the price.

Sturdy, sharp, but finish and grip is meh.

Didn't initially like this knife. It was too thin and the finish seemed rough--tool marks on handle, handle not well polished, weird feel because the grip is blocky, flat, and thin--stuff like that. I have several knives from this company and I like all of them a lot, so this knife seemed like a black sheep.I started carrying it because it was sharp, very sturdy, and if I carried it I wasn't going to hurt the knives I liked more.It grew on me a lot and turns out that this is a really good knife, regardless of the finish and the feel of the handle.Pros:. Sturdy--the blade seems thin, but it can take a beating. The hinge is solid and very smooth. Like high end CRKT smooth.Holds an edge. You could shave with this knife. Ok that's an exaggeration. And don't try it, that would be stupid. But it holds an edge really good. I use it very frequently and have not yet sharpened it. The edge is still very sharp (I've had the knife for about 3ish months as I'm writing this).Cons: finish. Not an overly attractive knife. The ground edges on the handle grips look, well, ground. It doesn't seem like anyone really took the time to smooth or polished the cuts and grinding after cutting out the plastic grips. I have several knifes from this company and they all look a lot better than this one.Ergonomics: The handle is thin and feels blocky. It felt weird to hold at first and it really took some time for it to grow on me. I don't mind it now, but at first I kept thinking it was an awfully cheap feeling knife. After several months I still think that it feels cheap and the finish is sub par, BUT the quality is in the sturdy construction, smooth action, and sharp blade that holds a good edge.
