Useful, strong and GREAT GRIP, help A LOT ON HOME and you will love it.
When I buy this product, I was very susceptible about the quality and others factors about this reacher, and all was just stress without sense, first of all, the product arrive fast and on time from the seller, the package was easy to get off and the reacher it's ready to use, I test the claps on several items: glass, woden, ceramic, paper, etc, thanks to the siliconed tips, none of the items slipped and the grip it's always GREAT and STRONG, the aluminium body it's very strong and support heavy task, just press the hand level and it's all.I give it to my son and I already lose one of the 2 reachers that I purchase, my dear son NEVER return to me and use on EVERYTHING, he feels an adult and can get they own stuff from any place, toys, cups, etc, he love to help with his "new robotic hand" that's the name that my son give to this great tool, and of course he add stickers everywhere and give "his touch of art".I purchase this reacher to use on home and I use it on aquarium task also, I have no problems with the liquid and it's easy to clean and reuse on other task around the house, my dad (old man of more of 70 years) use it a lot to reorder cables, ornaments, he use to change a damage bulbs without any problems, or on some garden task, really you can use it on any you can imagine, just give a try and you will LOVE IT, easy to fold and store anywhere, very practical tool and give an extra hand when you need it, I will need several more, because some of my friends and family members wish to have one when it try it.

Worked great until unusual stress caused it to break
I bought the two pack Procellatech pick up tools and started using 1 on 7/18 for trash while walking my dog, probably used it 10-15 times total. It worked great on small items like straws and their wrappers or cigarette butts along with larger items like bottles. On 7/30 I picked up a used needle a few blocks away and not having any where to immediately safely dispose of it used the tool gripping it the rest of the way back to the house. This caused unnecessary stress on the plastic cable inside resulting in a decreased ease of picking up small items to not being able to at all and finally the handle grip broke on 8/4. If you don't expect to have unnecessary stress on the gripper then I would highly recommend this pack of two. The next pickup tool I buy will be to try a metal cabled one to see if that will last longer.

For limited light-duty use
I purchased a pair of these grabbers last summer, and they worked well. I used them once every other week (rotating between the two of them) to pick up litter and trash along a 4 mile greenway walk. Each used involved between 400 and 500 "grabs" of litter and trash, so they got a good workout. One grabber died a few weeks ago, so I ordered another pair. I went to use one of the new grabbers today, and it failed after 15 minutes of picking up trash. The cable inside gave way, and it won't close its jaws - so, no longer useful. It could not be repaired. I will order a more heavy-duty grabber next time. These are fine for light-duty, occasional use.

Good for very lightweight items, no lock
Needed another grab tool as I now have physical limitations. It will pick up light objects: empty cans, balls of paper, no more than 6 keys on a keychain, tv remote...think you catch the drift. Anything heavier and you can see the rod bend. Good that it folds in half. Not good - no locking mechanism. If you or the person you're getting this for has grip strength issues, this may not help. Even with a lightweight object, you need to hold the grip closed while moving it across your body for the other hand to access the object. There is one other grabber advertised on Amazon, not as stylish, but you can lock the grip. Works well for getting glass or stemware from a higher shelf. Price is good for two, though. I'd give it a 5 IF it had the grip lock.

Best set you can get.
So, I like these "Grabbers" they cost about as much as the ones from Harbor Freight, but with the better design that is a simple pipe in pipe, so the folding joint is much stronger, I like that the tips are not the always coming loose suction cup style.I would like to see these improvements:* make the cable inside a little shorter so when the grip is half or 3/4 squeezed, the tips touch, and when fully squeezed, the tips exert pressure on each other,*more pressure able to be exerted to tips and grabbing end,* I like the fineness of the grabbers grabbing ability, but would rather it be able to hold some weight, has hard time picking up soda cans and bottles, like beer bottles.* could you make a 3 section design that is a section longer than current one, for easier picking up of trash in golf cart with maybe an arm cradle like device to greatly reduce hand/wrist fatigue, so weight of grabbers and grabbed stuff is transferred to forearm, no one makes anything like that.best part about them selling 2 at a time, is a matching grabber for a second person, or two exact ones, one for each hand...

I can oysters and hot dogs, but not the dog !!!
So I am lazy, not really a lazy person, but someone who is happier chilling on the couch then climbing Mt Kilimanjaro. I am not a sloth, but I always happy not needing bend over to reach stuff up. These little beauties make me happy as a pig in you know what.I can grab lots of things, but the dog does not appreciate getting it tail grabbed (I might have missed once or twice). Beer cans are a simple grab when full, but require almost expert precision when grabbing and attempting to fill a pint glass. Not needing to lean forward on the couch for that last sip is always a bonus. Chips are always a challenge, but even more fun is trying to grab a chip and then dip it. I have tried also using them to cook ... they are not to receptive to grabbing hot things. You will melt them, and this is not proper cooking protocol. I was able to grab hot dogs from a street vendor one day in NYC though, which was a bit awkward, but amusing.Enjoy grabbing stuff and finding ways to create adventure with these grabbing devices. The world is your oyster if you get out and explore!
