Shielded interconnect cables greatly reduce the possibility of interference disturbing your listening. Available in stereo dual-mono pairs from 0.6 m to 4.5 m in length, they are also available singly where their 75 Ohm characteristic impedance make them suitable for digital audio or video use. The stereo dual mono CuSat50 is available with RCA/phono plugs each end or with a combination RCA/phono plugs, TRS jacks or XLRs (wired unbalanced). Single cables for digital audio or video are supplied fitted with RCA/phono plugs either end and are available with either one or two BNC adapters for if your equipment uses BNC connectors. CuSat50 uses ultra-low impedance shielding - the part of the cable responsible for keeping the grounds tethered - which is essential to minimise hum-loops. Its shielding comprises a tightly knit copper braid over and in contact with a copper foil which completely wraps around the inner signal cable. Copper is the second most conductive metal known after silver, and its DC resistance is a mere 15 mOhm/metre making the CuSat50 an ideal choice. The capacitance of the CuSat50 is only 55pf per metre which means it won't attenuate high frequencies even in longer lengths. The cables are marked in the direction of extrusion.
