The bugger is a bit noisy, but after comparing it with other space heaters, I realized the noise is similar. With headphones you are not going to notice it. Even without headphones I like the white noise it produces when sleeping. Its neutral sounding and it it doesn't bother me. It actually helps me sleep like a bedroom fan noise.Performance is amazing! My room is a toasty marshmallow while the rest of the house is a freezer! It puts out lots of heat, but it is very directional. But even though you don't feel the heat blast farther than 4ft, I noticed my room and office does get nice and toasty fairly quickly. The long 6ft power cord really helps with positioning and the gauge thickness of the cord inspires confidence in terms of safety. I noticed all my other heaters use thin power cords.Everything is controlled with simplicity and I wish all space heaters operated this way. There's a 3 setting rocker up top that controls heat lvls 1 & 2 and off. There is safety kill rocker switch in the back, but I usually don't mess with it unless I'm moving it to prevent accidentally turning it on.After having used it for 3 weeks, I'm definitely keeping it. The form factor is very industrial / modern / sci-fi looking with a pleasant texture. If you need something of this size and prefer the simple power switch over the others, go with this one. Love the form factor, safety features and simple operation of this space heater. A+UPDATE: Love the seller's / manufacturer's customer service! When I wrote the heater was noisy, they offered to switch out the model. However, after since trying other heaters, I realized the noise is on par for this type of gadget. Good fan that is well-built. I get plenty of heat out of both settings and I like the ability to switch between high heat and low heat. Low heat I’m using about 388 Watts and high heat I’m using about 730 Watts. It works fine for me since I use this connected to my solar battery bank to heat my kitchen. It does a fine job and I just let it run all day to use up excess solar power. Many people talked about fan noise and that doesn’t bother me at all. If they want a silent heater, they should probably look into a heating lamp , which is totally silent. This heater with the fan works great. FYI - I always use the toggle switch on top to turn it on and off. By putting that switch in the middle position, the fan continues to run until the heater cools down. That is the key to longevity with a heater like this so that it cools off before the fan shuts down.

It's what I expected...it works very well for being such a small heater. I got the 6 inch one and it has a strong heat output. However, the 400 watt switch doesn't have reliable heat as the 600 watt switch. I noticed the 400 watt mode produces regular fan air mixed in with the heat. Ending on a positive note, it's very lightweight and portable. I use it at my desk when I'm working and it does the job.

I used this to keep pipes from freezing. It was effective. As a small room heater it also does a great job and takes up very little space.

The switch on top stopped working pretty quick, but the switch on the back still works and it still blows out heat. It blows enough to keep me warmer while sitting at my desk and slowly warms up my small office space a degree or two. It’s more of a personal heater and what I was looking for. If you want space here, keep looking.

The electric heater arrived promptly without damage. Only asseembly required was to screw on the base. I love the look and the fact that it swivels is awesome. the remote control feature is also great. The fake fireplace look is another great feature. The heater heats up my living space (925sq ft) comfortably. Thanks.

Puts out good heat. Fan is loud, but it's a pleasing fan noise. Good heater for the price point
