The 5 units arrived quickly and were very easy to power up, link and fit. They are small, smaller than my original wired smoke detectors as you can see from the slightly different colouring on the ceiling paint. They are light and need 2 small screws (included, plus the raw plugs if needed) to attach. Because they are so light there was no issue with mounting them on my lathe and plaster ceilings.One of the units did false alarm (triggering all of them) a couple of times but this did let me prove that a TV remote can be used to cancel them. This would have meant a 4 star rating however the support from the company was excellent. After a couple of helpful emails they sent me out a replacement within a couple of days. No hassle at all and a big thank you Crystal at Wisualarm.

My old smoke detectors starting going off willy nilly. So decided to purchase this set. Because they are linked to each other I feel this is the way to go.

Bought these end of November but didn’t get around to installing until mid January.3 months on and they became faulty. Contacted the seller and despite being outside of the return period, the seller offered a full no quibble refund or replacement. Can’t ask for more I suppose. Happy with outcome.

These arrived quickly and look well built. I set them up and tested that they all linked together which they did. I put them up in place and was quite pleased.However, since then they have kept going off randomly. :(It was especially annoying at 4am last night when they all went off for no reason at all.As they have gone off lots of times now, it is interesting to see that they don't reliably link to the others, sometimes they all go off, sometimes just one goes off.I will be returning them for a full refund - quite disappointed as they sounded like they would be perfect for what I needed, but they are unreliable and cause a situation where when the alarm goes off, nobody expects a fire any more.Waste of time and money.

It's hard to review a smoke alarm..esp when every detail is there in the ma8n description!Ok this is loud...as you'd want it to be. It comes with a handy sticky template to locate where to screw with included screws. Personally I'd just use a pen & backing plate. So....you screw the backing plate on first...then twist the main alarm body onto it. Theres also a circular double sided sticky 'sponge' included...can only guess it's for use instead fixing with screws.It's good that it can interconnect with other units & also being able to mute any false alarm with tv remote etc.It's the LEAST aesthetic of any smoke alarm I've had before....It looks like it's more for commercial/industrial buildings.If buying a smoke alarm....I'd definitely go with this or similar type....ie...with a built in ten year battery lifespan...(as are my other smoke/carbon monoxide detectors)...install & forget. No being woken by low battery beeping in the middle of the night...& I was bad for taking spent batteries out & leaving the case open for when I got round to putting new batteries in!All good...& hopefully it will never have to do its job. But the ten year battery life is a must for me.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a compact unit that was very easy to fit. It came with both screw fixings and also a self-adhesive pad. I used the latter and it was in place in a minute.I hoped to mount it on a wall near the ceiling but the instructions said it should go on the ceiling itself. It needs to be 50cm away from a wall, presumably so any smoke reaches it quickly and the unit doesn't find itself in a pool of clean air in the corner as smoke travels past it.It says to test weekly. I test my others monthly, and I plan on doing the same (who is going to remember to do this every week), so around the first of each month I go round and press the buttons.This one can connect wirelessly to other identical units so they all go off if one detects smoke. I only have one of this type at present, but could expand my "network" over time, as long as they remain available. I do also think there is a certain extra safety in diversity here, though, so having a mixture of different detectors throughout the house might perhaps give better protection if one brand happens to fail or not live up to its claims.The price seems good right now, and it's smaller than my existing devices, so I can recommend.

UPDATED have recieved a full refund from the seller. Excellent communication from the seller and offer to resolve the problem so I have increased to 3 star. Unfortunately the alarms kept sounding so I decided against a replacement and have got a different brand. 5* for the seller, product not so good.Loved how easy these were to set up but unfortunately too many false alarms. Average of 6 times a day / night they are going off, then you have to locate the one that set them off to silence efficiently. No way to turn off or remove battery as they are a sealed unit. They have even sounded from the box waiting to be returned.

Haben im Haus und auf dem Grundstück 10 Stück verbaut. Sind alle vernetzt. Auch das funktioniert gut und einfach.Batterie fest eingebaut, wenn sie alle sind müssen alle getauscht werden. Hoffe die Batterien halten auch so lange wie versprochen.

Conforme à la description et facile d'installation

Einen Feuermelder auf Empfang schalten (4× drücken), einen der anderen Melder vernetzen (2x drücken). Alle restlichen verbinden sich dann automatisch. Fertig. So habe ich mir das vorgestellt. Daumen hoch!

Rauchwarnmelder sind relativ einfach und schnell verbunden Montage ist auch schnell erledigt und Funktionsprobe einfach und schnell erledigt Alarm kann auch mit einer Infrarotfernbedienung ausgeschaltet werden ! Die Rauchmelder sind relativ groß und die Funktion wird durch blinken einer grünen LED angezeigt ist aber nicht störend .
