I am really impressed by the Century Star Bucket hat, it was designed with some seriously great features. I’ll have to admit I am a bucket hat fan, and I own various cotton bucket hats. This is my first 100% Polyester bucket hat. The cotton ones are softer but I’ve found after several launderings that the cotton fades in color leaving it looking dull. Polyester, which this hat is made from, tends to retain its color and shape, unlike cotton fabric. Bucket hats tend to be crushed and tossed into a bag, like my cotton ones, and they wrinkle. This hat is wrinkle-resistant even when crushed in my sports bag.Some features that I love are the traditional breathable grommets, UPF50+ rating, they are lighter in weight than cotton, and there is an adjustable string to cinch the headband for a better fit. There is also a breathable mesh lining which adds structure to the hat.I wear glasses so I love wearing a hat like this which is waterproof to shield my glasses from rain—no umbrella needed!In short, this hat is easy to wash and dries super quickly, protecting your head from the sun and rain. It is also comfortable in hot weather, breathable, and lightweight. I love the olive color but you can choose from 6 other colors!

I have been very pleased with this hat. I purchased this for my sun to use when doing yard work and he has really liked it. It is easy to clean and has a nice fit and look to it. It fits very well and does a good job shielding his eyes from the sun. I would definitely purchase this hat in the future.
