These knives cut through anything and have so far remained sharp over time. The handles are comfortable to hold and have a decent amount of grip.The block is useful for keeping them safe and stored neatly but is otherwise unremarkable, though this isn’t a bad thing.

The media could not be loaded.  I thought our old knives were sharp, but these are super sharp! They just glide through things, we barely had to touch a grape for it to slice in half. The knives are comfortable to hold, nicely weighted in your hand and there's a great selection for various tasks. It's also helpful to have the sharpener built into the block. I would prefer the block to be a little narrower though as if you have a small kitchen it takes up a fair amount of room on the side so perhaps it could be more vertically stacked instead of horizontally. For such good quality knives the price point seems good to me - they are better than our last set which cost more than this a fair few years back.

I have used NANFANG BROTHERS Chef Knifes before, i have a set of 3 which i enjoy using and have remained sharp over the past year.So i was very pleased to order this NANFANG BROTHERS Chef Knife Set 10 PCS which comes in a sold black block and this block also has a built-in knife sharpener which is really handy.The set comes with 6 different knives, a pair of sharp scissors then the block with the sharpeners. I do think it is always a bit of a disappointment when you first see 10pc set and you only get 7 tools to use but i guess thats how they market them.I have found these knives to be well balances in your hand, the handle is a pleasant shape to hold and light. The cream handle also looks great against the Damascus blade. I do love Damascus knives with their distinctive waves..The knives are average price for the set and quality, all Nanfang Brothers sets come at a cost but you do get what you pay for. I gifted my brother a new set for Christmas last year as he had just had a nice kitchen installed and i know he is still using them and very pleased. They do quicky become your everyday tools and take over from any other sets you may have.

I'm a home cook and I love to cook, but I was always frustrated with my old knives. They were dull and difficult to use, and I never felt like I could get a good cut.These knives are incredibly sharp and easy to use. I can slice through vegetables, meat, and fish with ease. These are fantastic knives for the home kitchen, just not quite chef/professional quality. One of my friends works in the industry and was decently impressed with these. He said they felt good, had a good balance and cut well.The knives are crafted with VG-10 super steel core comprised of 35 layers of Damascus steel as per the box description . I find it confusing surrounding the steel layers as the 19 piece set states 67 layers but they are the same knives as this 10 piece set, so I'm not sure how you work it all out?Regardless, these are sharp and feel great quality, especially when you come from a more basic sub £50 set. Every knife I’ve used is razor sharp and cuts through tough vegetables and dense meat easily. They feel great in the hand, offer good grip which in turn offers excellent control and confidence.I only have 2 criticisms...the presentation of the box and knives was nothing fancy, just a basic box like I would expect with cheaper knives - for someone who doesn't know about knives I would never guess they would cost over £200! And secondly, even though the knife block is sturdy and secure, it's not really the nicest, more function over style.However, I do like everything about these knives but the real test will be how well they hold an edge, and if I can learn to sharpen them adequately as being Japanese Damascus steel they contain a higher amount of carbon so are generally harder to sharpen. I am hoping I can keep them as sharp as they are now as if so I will have these for a long time to come.

Comes well presented and with everything safely inside. The outside of the box shows you exactly what you're getting. You get a total of 19 items; 8 inch chefs knife, 8 inch bread knife, 7 inch slicer knife, 7 inch santoku knife, 5 inch utility knife, 3.5 inch pairing knife, 2.75 inch paring knife, 8 x 5 inch steak knives, kitchen scissors and a wooden block. The block is wooden and in a black colouring with a slot for each knife, with the scissors having their own slot also. The stand is solid and sturdy and doesnt tip over at all even when any knives are removed. A variety of knives for different jobs in the kitchen. Made from layers of Damascus steel with a steel core, it gives an excellent toughness and durable cutting edge. All of a decent size, well made curved handle you get a smooth balanced knife. An even flush join between the handles and the blade. The cream coloured wooden handles are comfortable to hold, you can get a firm solid grasp. Each knives handle has a matching look with 3 metal rivets in each. Smooth and precise cutting. Versatile, you have a knife for everything from slicing bread, cutting meat and fish to dicing vegetables and slicing fruit. Really easy to clean in the sink with warm soapy water. A set of well produced knives. Perfect to tackle all your kitchen tasks. Very pleased with their performance.

Ich war mir echt nicht sicher was ich hier bekomme um einen Preis der ja nicht so wenig ist und das von einer Firme (NANFANG BROTHERS) die ich noch nie gehört habe.Wobei der Name hört sich zumindest Cool an, von dem allein hat man aber nichts.Geliefert wurde ein ziemlich schwerer Karton.Angefangen auszupacken stellte ich fest das hier allein die Verpackung schonmal richtig gut ist und der Inhalt Perfekt geschützt ist.Darüber hinaus ist JEDES Messer einzeln in einer dicken Papierhülle verpackt inklusive Schutzkappe für die Spitzen damit die Verpackung nicht durch das Messer beschädigt wird.Jedes einzelne Messer ist EXTREM scharf.Die Damasztstruktur sieht richtig gut aus und die Verarbeitung der Messer ist ebenfalls sehr gut.In der Hand liegen sie auch Super und man hat auch keine bedenken abzurutschen.Der Messerblock ist richtig Massiv und auch groß. Wer eher eine sehr kleine Küche hat und wenig Platz sollte sich das also gut überlegen oder Prioritäten setzen und Platz schaffen :DIm Messerblock befindet sich auch gleich eine eingebaute "Schleifstation".Da ich meine Messer aber alle mit einem nassen Schleifstein Schleife ,werde ich diese nicht verwenden denke ich.Als Fazit kann ich sagen: Wer das Geld hat und auch ausgeben will für Messer macht mit diesem Set keinen Fehler!Sie sehen nicht nur gut aus sondern sind extrem Scharf und auch Hochwertig!Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Das messerset + block kam gut und sicher verpackt bei mir an. Farblich total schön und passend zu meiner Küche. Sie sind super handlich und extrem scharf! Aufpassen! Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig und fehlerfrei. Der Preis ist etwas hoch-aber total gerechtfertigt.. hier bekomm man super hochwertige und scharfe Messer für lange Zeit. Klare Empfehlung.

Ich habe mir das Set bestellt, weil ich neue Messer brachte und alle schön geordnet haben wollte (und auch so, dass ich sie Kindersicher verstauen kann)Das Gewicht und die Verpackung ist sehr schwer, wiegt in etwa 4,5 kg. Aber der Messerblock muss natürlich auf das Gewicht der Messer und Schere halten.Diese ist optisch sehr gut verarbeitet, sieht sehr hochwertig und schick aus. Die Messer sind mit Plastik verpackt und dann noch einmal in einem kleinen Karton.Die Verarbeitung der Messer ist, soweit ich das für die Klingen beurteilen kann, sehr gut. Die Griffe haben keine typische „Schweißnähte“, an denen man sich gern mal aufkratzt. Die Messer selbst liegen sehr gut in der Hand und sind super scharf.Das Gesamtpaket ist nicht nur nützlich (alle Messerarten, welche man benötigt, sind vorhanden), sondern in der Küche auch schön anzusehen.Negativ: es liegt zwar eine Beschreibung zur Handhabung bei, diese ist allerdings in englisch und chinesisch. Mein Schulenglisch ist schon eine Weile her und chinesisch ist nicht meine Sprache. Hier sollte doch eine Pflegeanleitung auf deutsch beiliegen, wenn man Produkte in D verkauftPreis / Leistung ist gut, für derzeit knapp 195,- € zu empfehlen.
