We purchased one pink and one blue for a road trip. The pink seemed to be of better quality than the blue. With the pink, the cup holder had a waterproof lining and the snaps holding the side pouches were very sturdy. They stayed put even with the pockets full. With the blue there was no lining in the cup holder and the pouches fell off even when they were empty. The strap was too long for my 3 year old so the table just hung off his legs if he pushed it forward. For us, they were more of a hassle than anything while on our road trip. My son wanted it on and off and it wouldn’t stay put on his lap. I liked that it had a lip so toys/food didn’t fall off the sides, when he did leave it in place. My 7 year old daughter really liked it. She left it sitting next to her so she could grab it when needed. I definitely think this is better for an older child.

We waited way too long to get these. They are well made and wash easily. At first, when we tried attaching them around the car seat and waste the tray kept tipping forward. My daughter came up with the idea of making a loop out of the strap and hanging it over the back of the front seat headrest. This allows the tray to sit flat on the child's lap without tipping over and when the girls get out of the car the tray just Falls flat in front of their seat so it's easy to get in and out. See the photo for how we did it. Highly recommend these trays especially because they have a lip all the way around. Those trays without that lip allows food and toys to slip forward on to the child's lap and thus onto the floor. These trays keep everything in place are comfortable and easy-to-use.

bought this for my 3yo to use on a road trip. removed the side pockets because she couldn't really use them with her car seat. she doesn't use the waist strap either because she likes to get it out and use it for awhile and then store it next to her car seat - but otherwise, the design is really good. easy to use, easy to wipe clean, very sturdy without being too hard/rigid or uncomfortable. fit perfectly in my daughter's car seat. like that it has a cup holder. my 3 yo used it on the first road trip for puzzles and coloring and now I leave it in the car and she uses it all the time. i even brought it in the house for her to use as a tray table when she was sick. works great.

I ordered these yesterday(!) and they just got here within the last five minutes. I was on Amazon trying to see where the package was since I was skeptical it'd get here in time; We've had issues where they guarantee a next day or by X date and then they mysteriously change the date to later. Anyway, the delivery guy knocked on the door and I got to work putting them together. There's really nothing to it, just unzip, put the foam and board inside, zip back up, and there you have it!My kids are boy/girl 2yr olds (one is almost 3). I ordered the pink & gray for my daughter and green & black for my son. They haven't seen them yet, but I think they're going to love them. My husband and I like that they have a tall lip going around the entire tray. My kids are like animals when they eat and I'm still finding food crumbs from our last road trip 3-months ago. I hope these are worth the cost, but I tend to think they were a bit overpriced. Maybe I'm wrong about that.Also, I couldn't find any tray table that would hold a portable DVD player. All I found were trays with tablet inserts. I saw in one of the other reviews here that someone flipped the tray around and attached the strap to the front seat. I plan to do that and attach the DVD players (we have 2 with velcro straps) and see if that works for my kids. If it does, I'll try and update this.

We used this for my 6 year old on a road trip, and it was perfect! What we loved about it is it's portable (she carried it herself like a cross body purse), it fits nicely next to her car seat when not in use (so it fits in tight spaces), it has the lip to prevent markers from rolling off, and it has a nice sized pocket to fit 4-5 coloring books. When it arrived the foam and hard plastic were sitting on top, and I was confused as to what to do with it. I had to read a review to realize that they fit into the first zippered pocket. I'm not sure why it wasn't shipped "assembled", but oh well. Glad to have this product, and will use it many more times.

Being the father of 4 kids I know the value of keeping them entertained on the road and on trips. This travel tray is a life saver and my kids love using it in the car. The quality seems very good for the price and the stitching is nice and strong. I really like the extra zipper pocket on the bottom and the messenger strap so my daughter can store stuff in it and carry it easily herself without a lot of help. I've seen a few reviews saying that it's hard to put together but I had it figured out pretty quickly and overall with some common sense it went together really easy....the biggest thing is getting the foam support board in the right pocket which I posted a photo of for reference for anyone who can't figure it out. All in all it's a good overall quality product and under $20 so you don't have to break the bank which is always nice for kids stuff. I'll definitely be buying another one in the future for my son when he's old enough to need one.

I bought this for my 6 year old to use on our road trips this summer and I'm really impressed with the design and construction. I've only used it for the weekend (just got it) but so far its great! The large zipped pocket has plenty of room for coloring books, crayons, art supplies and comics and the strap makes it super easy to carry like a messenger bag when we are out of the car and into a restaurant, park, etc. The lip around the tray is great for keeping crayons and small pieces to travel games from rolling off but they are soft enough that it doesn't hurt my kid's arms when they rest on them. I think what I like best is that it's made of a rip-stop type nylon material so its washable and wipe-able and the mesh pockets also detach for washing. This is CRUCIAL as my kid is a messy snacker. Looking forward to many road trips!
