Real wood plus a felt bottom
The best piano coasters I found online. My piano movers emphasized I needed to use coasters with a felt bottom so it wouldn’t stick to the hardwood floors, like the foam ones. And although I was hoping to get a more modern, minimalist style, these were the only ebony, solid wood, felt bottomed coasters I could find. So they are more classic looking but they work remarkably well. I highly recommend. Hopefully they’ll consider new wood designs. :)

Well-made, quality caster cups with felt-lined bottom to protect floor
Although the cost was higher than I had hoped, now that I see the difference in quality compared to the alternative caster cups online, I'm glad I purchased these.

Very nice quality but felt could be wider
These are sturdy and elegant. They perfectly suit my 5'10" grand. I chose them because they have felt padding, rather than foam padding (foam can stick and/or deteriorate and ruin the floor you are trying to protect!). I deducted one star because the felt doesn't reach the edges of the base. It seems to me that a 750-pound piano like mine will compress that felt to the point that the wooden edges will be making contact with the floor, negating the purpose of the caster cups. So I added a strip of self-adhesive, 1/4-inch wide felt ribbon (used to line picture frame rabbets) to the perimeter of the base, beyond the circlet that comes from the factory, to fully cover the bottom, and am now 100% happy. Photo shows the damage an earlier piano did to my floor. Won't happen this time!

Quality product. Solid hardwood with felt on the bottom that protects hardwood floors. I prefer the felt over the foam since the foam is more likely to deteriorate over time.Perfect size for baby grand piano. The rounded indent where piano wheel sits centers the wheel perfectly. More costly then some brands, but well worth the price for the quality.

very nice caster cups to protect my new floors
there is a nice felt bottom on these cups that will not scratch or stick to hardwood floors. the wheels on my Yamaha baby grand fit in the cup perfectly.
