Useless for Hollowtech II
Wish I read the bad reviews before buying - this thing just kept slipping out of my Hollowtech II BB, same as another reviewer. I tried widening the teeth to add more tension, and even inserted a tool down the other end to help the "teeth" stay bedded into the BB, but it always slipped out with moderate bashing. Ended up hammering on a screwdriver to removal the BB - it was ruined but the frame and sheel are spotless with some careful tapping. Sadly the tool was useless for this BB (Hollowtech II, BB92, MT500-PA to be specific),

Modifications Needed to Work on a Shimano BB71
I needed to remove my BB71 from my bike, but wanted to see if a cheaper pressfit removal tool would work as well as a parktool pressfit removal tool (BBT-90.3).The IceToolz removal tool fit on the edges of the bottom bracket well, however I could not remove the bearing as there was too much freedom inside the tube of the bottom bracket compared to a Parktool (as shown in the pictures). If you could make the tube of IceTool removal tool wider then it would not slip when trying to hammer the bearing out. Otherwise unfortunately the more expensive ParkTool removal tool is your only option for this type of bearing.

Copy of the Park Tool and probably doesn’t work as well
Well packed and seems a solid enough item. However, when trying to tap out the BB, this tool just slipped through the spindle hole so didn’t do the job. I ended up with an old screwdriver and hammer so could have saved my money! Might work on other makes of BB (mine is Shimano).

Removed Sram GXP BB no problem
Used this to remove a sram gxp bottom bracket from a 2016 Scott Scale 720 carbon. Worked an absolute charm. No modifications to the tool just worked and had the bottom bracket out within a few minutes. So much easier when you have the right tool for the job.

Works well once you remove the centre tube
Initially struggled to get the bearings out, until i realised that the plastic 'centre tube' needed to be removed first. This is made from very thin plastic (much thinner than it looks), and can be easily broken with a screwdriver and then bent so it can be removed. Once this is out the tool removed the two bearing cups easily.

Splines need widening
As another reviewer has stated, the splines need to be widened as necessary to grip the back of the cups.
